Our team ships updates and new features to Ampwall all the time! All of our updates will now post to ampwall.com/blog in addition to our community discord server. It’s compatible with RSS if that’s your thing. We backfilled the past 16 months worth of updates from our Discord, too.

RSS is thriving

It’s Expo 55 using all the New Architecture goodness. Expo makes RN development incredibly easy compared to what I remember from years ago but mobile dev is still years behind web in terms of tooling. Big improvements are happening right now; mobile dev 12 months from now will be unrecognizable.
Very proud of this. I worked on this off and on for about a year. It was both a bigger undertaking than I expected and also not too tough. I could write a lot about the challenges but most of them come down to a glacially slow testing and feedback loop compared web.
Install any good Android apps lately? 👀
Ready, just have to fix some trivial screen position things

We’re better
Look at this! So nice. One embed option for ampwall.com/a/topsy-reco.... Now we need to step up the colors on the pages themselves to be more exciting.
We also use it for a very subtle effect on album pages. Here's a with and without screen for @amiintrouble.bsky.social. The dominant yellow color makes it easy to see here but most are more subtle. It makes the page feel just a bit more alive.
This is cool. @voidscanmusic.com posted this screenshot showing variations in @ampwall.com's embedded audio players using our new color extraction code. We're still tweaking it, wdyt?
Submitting it to the Google Play Store tomorrow.
I am here to tell you that @ampwall.com has an extremely nice new experience for adding items to your cart. Our embedded audio player got upgraded and soon (tomorrow?) they’ll be even better. Every album page is getting a small glowup. Mobile app launching imminently. Huge things on the horizon.
This is VERY cool. We can help you put Ampwall info in the results if you want, let me know.
Within the band we call it album 5b or 5.5 😎

Breaking Bluesky silence to say Ampwall has big things coming up:
* ApplePay and GooglePay - they’ll become available for artists pages sell via PayPal business accounts
* Mobile app for listeners - my current top priority, working well on iOS and Android, filling in some last stuff before release
I haven’t opened this app in weeks so I didn’t connect face to name until after the show ended 🤯
Episode 98 of Whatever Comes Next, hosted by @tomosmansounds.bsky.social spotlights Chris Grigg (@subvertallmedia.com), founder of @ampwall.com

This is a nice way to say our docs really sucked and we're working on improving them. Ampwall is a BIG platform with a lot of bells and whistles. We're making documentation part of our release process will no longer consider something "released" until it has docs here.
Glad to have you with us!

Will rules. ~15 years ago Woe had a day off in Ottawa. DA was playing the venue we played the night before and our friend was doing sound. We bumped into Will and he remembered us from a fest we played together. He invited us into their bus to smoke and watch Roadhouse. Rad dude, killer band.
