I would have worn the heck out of that in 1984!

Thank you! It's a wonderful pattern with such a lovely crown.
A creepy head model (sorry Jordan, but you are a little creepy) wearing an ivory and chartreuse colourwork hat. The design is geometric in style. Next to the head is a pair of mittens knit in the same yarn. Hat pattern: Kalea Hat Mitts: Coin Slot
A view of the crown of a handknit colourwork tuque showing a geometric pattern in chartreuse and ivory.
I haven't shown this one yet, so here is my most recent colourwork for this week's #showmeyourknits prompt. I knit the hat to coordinate with the mitts that I knit last year. They don't match, but I think they "go". #knitsky π§Ά
Thanks! It's called Fern Pillow by Rachel Braff. It's such a fantastic design!
Thank you π
I really love the fern pillow too. It was my first steeking project.
A child sized tuque with a motif of tall green trees laying on a white background. Pattern: Cathedral Grove.
A small stroller sized blanket knit in green with 3 leaf branches running up the front. Pattern: sprout blanket

I'll happily channel some πgreenπ right now since it's still decidedly βwhite around here. #showmeyourknits #knitsky π§Ά
Thank you! Our little Cashew is so fun to knit for. In fact, he may be due for a new sweater soon.
A miniature poodle wearing a cream sweater with stripes in red, yellow, maroon, green and orange. He is wearing matching orange boots in the snow.
A miniature poodle in the snow wearing a blue knit sweater with colourwork yoke in white and pickle juice green.
A miniature poodle puppy wearing his first sweater, a royal blue cabled sweater. He is sitting in a pile of fall leaves.
A miniature poodle sitting on top of an intricate handknit colourwork blanket which is finished but not yet blocked. He is looking up at the camera as if to say "this blanket is mine now".
Happy to oblige with some dog in sweaters pics for animal week πΆ at #showmeyourknits. Bonus shot of dog supervising the blanket knitting process #knitsky π§Ά
Omg! As if the chicken blanket could get any better, that backing fabric!! π₯ π₯
Oh no π±π± π±
That really hurts!
Hopefully you can get it good as new after a cooling off period.
Thank you! Such a fun colour combo β€οΈ π©·
Wow! At that size it must keep you warm while you are knitting!
Those mitts are stunning!
β€οΈ Thanks!
Thanks, that is so kind π
Thank you π
A shawl knit in red and light pink short row stripes wrapped around a hanger.
The same red and light pink short row striped shawl spread out to see the stripe sequence.
I might have shown this one before, but it's the perfect red and pink knit for this week's #showmeyourknits prompt. I knit this Surge shawl for my lovely friend's milestone birthday a few years back. β€οΈ π©· π§Ά
Wishing you a restorative break π
Oof! That's really frustrating π―
I presume their tour is being organized by an events management team, and that is probably the "why" for the ticket pricing. It's not about the amount, it's about the currency.
Since all that says is that Norwegians are coming to Canada, all to more reason to set ticket prices in CAD or even Norwegian Kroner. Le sigh π
I noticed that too this morning. Hard no from me as well.
Thank you! Painfully, yes, it was intarsia. Definitely not my favourite technique to do, but the vest for my hubby did turn out great.
A slightly fuzzy medium grey cropped raglan pullover with rows on black squares all over. Pattern: Pixel Pullover by Claudia Quintanilla. Yarn: Drops Air.
A light grey vest with black and white argyle pattern up both sides of the front on a bright red backdrop. Knit way back in 2008! Pattern: Argyle Vest by Veronik Avery.
Grey π©Ά you say? Besides every boring grey hat I've knit for the men in my family, here are a few more fun grey items for #showmeyourknits. Details in alt text.

I love the idea of unsuspecting folks discovering an adorable knit sting ray on a cruise ship!
A tired dog is a happy dog and that sleeve looks wonderful!

My most recent garter stitch project for this week's #showmeyourknits was this squishy hooded scarf for my son's partner. Pattern in alt text.
