It can be fun to mess with sometimes! I'd also recommend looking into Home menu themes if you haven't yet, I got a nice 'Dark Mode' one with a purple accent to it on my console.

I'd also highly recommend using the Virtual Console when you can for emulation, I didn't need more than that personally.

If you feel like you're missin' out on the (admittedly few) Miiverse features in it, give Pretendo a shot! At the very least it'll make your Home menu look less sad. x3
