Don't do them if you aren't confident. If you want to experiment, go ahead. Let the physicality of the character dictate the tone, pitch or pace of the voice. Bigger characters often are a bit deeper, maybe with a bit of a coarse voice. Smaller characters are often more high pitched.

It's just not worth fighting with someone over AI. You will never change their minds. They do not care about the ethical or legal reasons we shun it. Instead, I think it's better to fight it at the source. Nightshade your art, push for more regulation on it and support human artists.
