For public safety we must have a law forbidding 'AI' systems responding to requests in an anthropomorphised manner.
Their responses should be cold, impersonal, and mechanistic.
LLMs are ruining people's mental health and the anthropomorphic lie is being used to scare investors and politicians.

I drink a lot of @yorkshiretea.bsky.social and it annoys me every time I buy it that if I get the regular stuff it's wrapped in plastic waste but if I pay extra for gold it's not.
They're the same box.
The ecocide costs them extra but they charge you more to not have it.
In 2024 I got a Labour leaflet through the door with 6 pledges on it, the first was no money for nothing which made the entire rest of the document essentially worthless.
“The cost of living crisis is real. That’s why we’re focusing on things that will have an immediate effect - freezing rents and scrapping council tax to replace it with a land value tax so those with more wealth pay their fair share.”

Pennycooks opposition to rent controls was welcomed by Kurt Mueller - Britain's largest listed private landlord
Labour's housing minister's opposition to rent controls welcomed by the country's largest private landlord.
Who's side are Labour on? Renters or landlords. The answer is here.
When Labour next tell you there is no money left and that's why they can't help people to heat their homes, show them this.
holy shit he actually conceded
folks, they tell you they’re invincible
they tell you they’re inevitable
they tell you that you should give up and stop fighting
and absolutely none of that is true
The "special relationship" should really be approached as being like "premium unleaded".
That's just the regular stuff.
Everyone has a special relationship with America
Age verification will NOT make the internet safer. It's yet another in a long line of measures designed to surveil us, censor our open and healthy sharing of personality and culture, and prevent us having any conversation the state doesn't like.
Pass that on!
You know how we've all had that one dumb job we just sort of put up with even though everyone involved knew it was bullshit?
That's my opinion on the whole hypnotism thing. The specifics are funny sure, but "man debases self to make rent" isn't exactly front page news.
The luxury car tax is such a weird and arbitrary system when you can in fact write a law that forbids any company advertising their vehicles as premium or implying the driver is better than anyone else unless the tax applies to it. You can even mandate prominent communication of surcharge status.
I've been out touching grass but the polls are quite exciting given the general grimness of the news these days!

Nottingham Green Party volunteers ready to go litter picking!
Bags of rubbish all collected.
On Sunday our volunteers were out in Mapperley at the park, litter picking. As you can see, plenty of rubbish was collected. We even had a few local residents interacting with us, happy to see somebody tidying up the mess.
So, why do we litter pick?
We genuinely care about our communities 💚
No evidence of family voting in by election
Farage claims whitewash after police found no evidence of Gorton family voting.
Reform offered hate. We offered hope. Hope won.
The police say his accusations of cheating are baseless. Farage is a bad loser.
A cross party committee of MPs has warned that the UK and our allies need to prepare to defend Europe without the US.
It's time to face up to the threats that we're facing - and we urgently need to end our reliance on the US.

Peterborough Green Party held a really successful Action Day on Saturday at the Green Backyard.
In the afternoon Green Party Leader Zack Polanski visited and gave a stirring speech. It was great to see so many people turn up and we cannot thank the Green Backyard enough for their support.
Remember Lucy's public letters to Zack Polanski telling him Labour was the only alternative to Reform?
Now she is lecturing everyone on what a bad approach that is. Couldn't make it up.
Graphic with Oil Rig in the background and text that reads "new oil and gas is not the answer" with the green party logo at the bottom and say it with us written at the top.
Labour and Tory MPs want new drilling in the North Sea whilst we face a growing climate, energy and cost of living crisis.
Approving new oil and gas licenses won’t take a penny off our bills and will fuel the climate crisis.
New oil & gas is not the answer. Clean green energy is.

An excellent (long) video by @theabigailthorn.bsky.social on torture, institutional abuse, and how medicalisation can both fail those it's meant to help and be used as a weapon to harm people under the guise of meeting their needs.

Have you considered that perhaps a significant part of The Green Party's recent success is that people want to vote FOR something?
Or is your belief in nothing so entrenched that you cannot ascribe that motivation to anyone? Do you need help?
Surely there must be consequences for this. People made these decisions and those decisions and the motives behind them must be examined.
