Screenshot from discord: Happy Trans Day of Visibility! In lieu of today, and for not wanting to wait until Pride month, I'd like to take a brief moment today to come out a bit with you all. I would prefer people using they/she pronouns for me now. I have been sitting with the concept of my queer identity for a long time and the closest thing I have found has been gender-apathetic (part of the non-binary umbrella, then under the trans umbrella). I don't have a big connection to my femininity, and not being AMAB or raised with those expectations, I cannot speak to relating to masc-leaning identities as well. I'm just... me. Hearing societal expectations for AFAB people, and pronouns or terminology that are highly gendered for fem people don't really sit super well with me anymore. Not enough for me to fully reject, I just don't associate. I hope this makes sense, I'm also new to this.
