I mostly agree. I thought it was cool when it made sense. Like LotR "works" in that kind of universe, you could argue Final Fantasy does too. But TMNT? Marvel? Fucking Star Trek or whatever that's coming out? This fucking sucks. I miss the actual, yaknow, planeswalking. The actual story.

I think it's likely just as bad with Magic. I actually quit after the Final Fantasy set because of similar pricing shit and too much new product. I think card games are just in a crappy place right now since it seems like everything is being sacrificed for the sake of profit and speculation.

Have you had any trouble running PS2 on it? I think that would seal the deal for me honestly. I don't mind doing some tinkering, but I do tend to get frustrated with setup stuff like this.

Was it a chore to set up? Or is it preloaded with emulation things and you just slap roms in there? I've been sniffing around one myself.

I timidly said "sorry, I got turned around, this must be the wrong address" and got the fuck out of there.

Years ago, I got horny and hit up a glory hole on one of the apps. When I followed the directions the guy gave, I ended up on the outskirts of town at a house that looked like a junk yard and when I pulled up, a guy came out of the place with a shotgun and asked who I was.

I thought it was boring as hell and quit about 5 hours in. It's not anything special.

Back and biceps is best day. Still on the kong program. I think it’s going well.

I had a macbook pro that lasted me almost 8 or so years so I wasn't too worried. My windows laptop was pissing me off enough that I just said fuck it and ordered the neo as soon as I saw it. If it outdoes the M1 I'll be thrilled.

Literally worked for me. I ordered one for my clinic work to replace my current one. Perfect price point.

I know from first hand experience that creativity is an easily burnable resource. Sometimes it's really difficult to cultivate. I don't want to be the guy that demands robotic output from an artist, because that's the reason I quit freelancing. But also I paid for this and would like to receive it.

And this isn't even vaguepost bitching about a specific artist, it's literally been 2 out of the 3 I bought.

It's monumentally disappointing when you try and support queer art and buy commissions only to be ghosted or for it to take 6+ months without even a sketch or communication.

And for the record: I have a degree in art and worked freelance. I know it's difficult and burnout happens. But 6 months?
