Keiyoushi confirmed that Tachiyomi and TachiyomiJ2K are no longer supported due to upcoming extension system changes and inactive development.

On Nov 19, 2025, Chinese police detained the suspected operator of Bato, to and ~60 related piracy sites after a joint anti‑piracy effort with Japanese publishers. The sites were all confirmed shut down by Jan 19, 2026.
