Out of respect for the Tapping family, the Essendon Football Club has made the decision to postpone the Club’s Family Day, which was scheduled for this afternoon.

Vale Dale Tapping Club mourning passing of VFL Senior Coach.

The Essendon Football Club is in mourning after the passing of VFL Senior Coach Dale Tapping on Tuesday morning.

A universally loved and respected football person, Tapping bravely fought Myeloma, an aggressive form of blood cancer, from January 2023.

Rest in peace, Tapps ❤️
