Liked the dark better visually, but the bright better metaphorically.

I tend to think buildings and manmade constructs when I think #angles but I love how the geometry of these young dancers in motion lines up.

Yes. It’s such a complicated balance. But we’re doing a really great job of ignoring that balance and just destroying everything.

I live in this area and I’m watching acre after acre razed for new housing developments.

Came out here to get away from all that, but “progress” is everywhere.

The sun sets over Kings Creek Country Club golf course, near Cedar Creek Lake in east Texas. Pink and orange sunlight rolls across the hills and settles in the pond, while a storybook rock bridge gently rises over the water. This used to be sprawling forest.

We razed giant oak, cedar, pine, redbud, dogwood… all in the name of development. First for the lake, then for housing, businesses, and recreation.

This is what deforestation looks like.
