When she went and read her witness impact statement to him the night before the sentencing, it felt like she'd drawn a line.

I have a kind of mental order of preference for Archers characters, ranging from Liked (few), Tolerated (most), to Eurgggh. George has been towards the bottom of the latter list for a while now. Lillian just sank below even him. #TheArchers

I hated the kind of abuse of position feel of it from Lillian. Neither Fallon nor Joy, both working in the pub, both directly affected, suggested barring him. Bet Alice wouldn't either.

Yes, sadly the Grundy genes winning out over the Carter genes

I wish we could hear more from Adam. He has such a great sense of humour #TheArchers

I think the latter, largely enabled by Amber and Eddie. But I think Amber will have a gradual realisation that he's actually a misogynistic chancer, full of unwarranted self-righteousness and denial.

I'm still waiting for Dr Locke to reappear! So many loose ends.

Nothing. Lily's idea was good - organised shadowing to increase understanding, but Dane hijacked the idea and made it random. Waste of time!

That's exactly what I thought! She shouldn't even spend a second considering it. And as for him saying he wouldn't be involved....yeah right!

I think he would, particularly now that Ruaridh is showing some interest for the first time.

Equivalent to"Get out of my pub!"

Absolutely. We did this for my father in law. Direct cremation then a family do in a pub a couple of months later. My husband took his ashes up to the Highlands to scatter a year later xxx

Amber. I know the character is written to be annoying and affected, but the actor just sounds too "musical theatre" for me, a bit too Am Dram (oh god, she'll be the star of the panto won't she ๐Ÿ™ˆ)

Completely agree! It's made her (marginally) more likeable too.

Yes, I felt v uncomfortable about how he spoke over Susan and didn't listen to her. Even though I think he was right overall.

Awful. And Neil's had to put up with more than most when George put him in such an impossible situation when working at the pig unit. Neil is just so decent.

Oh god, Mick's going to be involved, isn't he ๐Ÿฅฑ

Not to do with any current storylines, but is anyone else dreading George's release? He's such an unlikeable character and it will inevitably mean more Eddy Grundy too ๐Ÿ˜• #TheArchers

Whoever came up with Kate and Jakob as a couple - just genius. The juxtaposition of silliness and forthrightness is just wonderful #TheArchers

Honestly one of the funniest lines for ages.....and then Jacob's "But I'm a vet". Howling ๐Ÿ˜‚

The funniest scene I've heard in a long time. Kate and Jacob together are comedy gold #TheArchers

Not sure about Alice and Lilian tbh. I'd put Chelsea up there underneath Leonard too.
