You can disagree with an opinion without being an asshole, which is basically my point. I won't come after you if you like or are even excited for the update, because we all process things differently; it's just how we operate. It just sucks to see people commit verbal violence too quickly.

I've seen people express their opinions and takes, only to be harassed and dismissed as "doomposters" when they want what's best for the game and for it not to alienate a percentage of the playerbase (which is what the inevitable Switch 2 Edition will do, thanks to hardware advancements)

random guy's opinion on new mechanic:

I don't like the direction S3's heading in. Incentivizing players who only care about getting the kills and not focus on objectives will only fuck matchmaking further, cause players to drop the game entirely because it's gotten too competitive.
