On Tuesday, we're doing some sidequesting and getting a new party member in ME3. Then on Thursday, we'll revisit Pac-Man to hunt some rewards and maybe try hard mode!

The way profit maxxing corpo culture has invaded every form of art through algorithms pushing people into daily posting is really weighing on me lately. Efficiency and regularity of making "content" being prized above all else feels so grim, man.

The "What I played/expected/got" meme. What I played: Pac-Man World 2 Re-PAC What I expected: Official 3D Pac-Man art and a few screenshots from the original game, including a frozen Pac-Man in Icy River Run. What I got: The "Focus, M" AAA Mario meme, Seregios from Monster Hunter, Crash Bandicoot running from a boulder, Star Fox 64, the Sky Rail stage from Sonic Adventure 2, Metal Gear Excelsus, Lethal Lava Land, Metallica's Ride the Lightning, Dark Souls, Sol Badguy's heavy slash, Super Sonic...and a frozen Pac-Man in Icy River Run.
And on the topic of Pac-Man, I felt compelled to make this meme after all of the...*unique* experiences the game offered. 😅
And finished! After many...*many* retries...we finally beat Spooky -- only to unlock hard mode! Maybe I'll give it a go next week...
For now, though, have a good weekend~

After spending a while not really thinking about Pokémon, let alone the handheld games, playing through Platinum again has been both nostalgic and refreshing -- even if it *is* a randomizer.
Despite its flaws I think I genuinely missed this ;-;
All done! We met up with Garrus and solved a few problems on the Citadel, meeting a couple other old friends in the process~

For better or worse, this week's schedule is the same as the last! We're off to Palaven in ME3 tomorrow, and then raiding Ghost Island in Pac-Man World 2 on Thursday!
The most annoying things about trying to fill out one of these "favorite game in X category" things whenever they roll around are that:
A) I suck at picking favorite media in any context, and
B) If I'm trying to avoid repeats, it gets exponentially harder.
In hindsight, while I remember owning and playing with it a few times as a kid, I frankly have no idea what I used to actually make with the stuff.
A small canister of 2004 McDonald's Lilo & Stitch "Stitch Stuff" Play-Doh.
Found an ancient relic while cleaning my room. Considering A) I can't even open the container and B) I can hear the dough rattling around inside when I shake it, I probably can't do much with it anymore...
All done! Good heavens the volcano levels were a difficulty spike @_@ But we persevered! We should be on track to beat the game next week!

Ta-da! I've been very, very busy the past several days (including today), but I've got a schedule for y'all! Tonight, we finally start the long-awaited Mass Effect 3! Then on Thursday, it's more protagonist noises with Pac-Man!
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to the long-day factory!

The first day of work training has been a little scuffed so far, which I guess isn't too surprising. But more than anything, I'm just tired. I gotta get used to this again...
I always think of that one SpongeBob episode where King Neptune whipped up a thousand slop patties that everyone hated, in the same amount of time it took SpongeBob to make one delicately handcrafted patty that actually tasted good.
...I don't think the writers realized how prophetic that was.
And done! We got through the first two worlds with minimal effort, but then encountered our worst enemy -- icy water! I'm looking forward to picking it up again next week~
