This is absurd

American soccer club owners are forgetting they're in American soccer, not American football. Everything about this sounds as misguided af, just like the latest whiff in Chicago.
Like why are we putting Pulisic at forward. He and McKennie are more important elsewhere on the field. Just play Weah and Reyna at forward. Just get them on the field. They are not irreplaceable in their other positions. Idc what they do for their clubs. Just play them up top and let's ball.
Like how in the hell did Pefok fall off so hard? How did Daryl Dike never become a serviceable option for the #USMNT? How is it remotely plausible that we literally never got to see a fully fit and in-form version of Aron Jรณhannsson? Terrence Boyd been scoring lower league goalz for yearz too.
Kinda gotta respect the #UMSNT's commitment to the bit.
It's not even fathomable that they can't keep a single *healthy* serviceable international forward out of Pepi, Balogun, Sargent, Ferreira, Agyemang, and Wright, among many many others.
This is why I wish America had 90+ states instead of 50. There's 35+ states that have extreme urban/rural or conservative/liberal divides that are just not sensible to maintain. Fayetteville has no business being part of an entire state that has such drastically different interests.
This is the direct result of poor officiating. When referees allow one team to be more physical than the other, this happens. You're forcing a reaction and preemptively policing the problem that you caused.
Arkansas' defense sucked tonight but we'll be talking about these referees for decades.
2 fouls
Two
That's it
In a game played at this pace and this style
There's just no effing way it's being called straight up
Goddamnit I hate complaining about referees...
BUT
Idk how in the year 2026 we're still watching free theow shooting contests in place of basketball games. It's terrible for the sport and no one wants to watch this.
It never clicked what Acuff's playing style reminded me of until one of the commentators recently compared him to Stephon Marbury. I was like yeahhhhhh
Real throwback point guard to the early aughts with star point guards like Marbury, Rafer Alston, Steve Francis, and Allen Iverson.
Idk if any of the big hospital systems are "good" but "Big" Baptist has to be one of the worst. Idk how it didn't get more attention during COVID that they laid off THOUSANDS of nurses/staff while letting thousands of *NEEDED* hospital beds go unused. Public negligence of the highest order.
Man idk. They may all seem dated now, but Cowboys, Steelers, Packers, Mets, Phillies, Sounders , Timbers, Avalanche, Rockets, Twins, and Astros are all S-tier location-specific brands.
I am no longer online enough to understand what these words mean
We have to get legislation in front of Congress to decrease the length of replays.
I am and always have been an advocate for use of replays to get the call right but for the ๐ luv ๐ uv ๐ gawd it doesn't not take 20 minutes to do so
99th percentile
Is that good?
Seems like it's good ๐คทโโ๏ธ
We're most likely getting UConn keeping their historic run going to the Final Four and an EPIC set of Elite Eight games betwen UCLA and LSU, South Carolina and Iowa, and Texas and Michigan.
These are the kinds of games that define a sport for decades...
Kim Mulkey is the kind of villain that galvanizes generations of fans. LSU is Thanos-level inevitable whilst still not being invincible.
I think Women's NCAA Basketball is heading towards a watershed moment with some absolutely massive matchups every step of the way from Elite Eight on.
Purdue is gonna win
The lower seed team needs to have a clear advantage to keep dreaming
I thought for sure High Point was ready to run Arkansas out of the building last night
Eventually, talent and experience take over. Arkansas had it. Purdue has it
Luckily, Acudf put the cape on
Ewin and Brazile were massive at the end too
Really can't see Arkansas pulling this out unless Acuff puts the cape on.
High Point is magnitudes above Arkansas in energy and intensity and they're getting all of the bounces you need to stay alive
So fucking over every Arkansas game sporting contest ever being more dramatic than it needs to be.
Fuckin always man
Major American sports leagues have to do something about these extended review breaks. How many fucking angles do you need? Make a decision and let's fucking go.
Beyond that? Woof. There's not a single legit WrestleMania level storyline in the men's midcard, the entire women's division, or any of the tag divisions. Rhea Ripley vs. Jade Cargill is a great matchup but there's nothing to the story.
Terrible timing with how they're shitting the bed w/ Vegas.
The main eventers at WWE are still lighting it up. Virtually everything between Roman, CM Punk, Seth, Brock, Jey, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, McIntyre, Orton, Cody Rhodes, and John Cena has been all-time level good.
Oba vs. Brock is now one of the top draws of this year's WrestleMania.
WWE has been on a 5+ year hot streak at the top of the cars. Basically all of the main event level stars are still thriving.
That said, everything else WWE is doing right now is weak and desperate. Stop trying to make fans care about Jelly Roll or dislike Randy Orton.
I'm gonna include St. John's and Northern Iowa in this as well. There's like no metric that indicated Northern Iowa would have a chance in this game. I know we all like to pick upsets but you gotta operate within some basis of reality.
Were there real metrics you were going off of? Or just vibez?
It be like that, man
Virginia, Georgetown, Kansas, and Arizona carry across this tendency despite constant changes to the roster and sometimes even coaching and administration.
It's just ingrained in some programs more than others and I have no explanation why
That said, if you picked against Arkansas, Nebraska, Texas Tech, or Michigan State, I truly do not know what metrics could have convinced you.
Apparently Hawai'i over Arkansas was a popular upset pick and it's like, why? I was obvs worried Arkansas would blow it, but they were miles better.
