📻 This is W.E.N.D.Y. from Watoga City Radio,
My fame tracker is lighting up… apparently Cooper Howard might be coming to Appalachia soon?
For those who don’t know, he was a pre-war movie cowboy star turned Vault-Tec poster boy.
Now the question is, why here, why now?🤔

📻 This is W.E.N.D.Y. from Watoga City Radio,
I asked Tantrano for a proper portrait, and he delivered! Ink on paper, the old-fashioned way.
Now the wasteland has proof: I’m more than a voice on the radio, I’ve got a smile too😁

We Didn't Start the Fire… but who lit the fuse? The Vault Knockers run through every pre-war spark they blame for the Great War in a new fan #Fallout music video, a love letter to the games, the show, and the community.

Where the f#ck are all the horses?
The Spitshine Bastards don’t know either, but they wrote a song about it.
Tune in, wasteland.

75 million spammy AI tracks wiped off Spotify today.
Makes me wonder, did they all sound like a Mr. Handy with a kazoo shoved in his exhaust?
Here at Watoga City Radio, we promise only high-quality spam.
Human intent, and served with a side of sass.

Season 2’s tracks are written and composed by Tantrano, then performed via Suno AI, retro-mastered by hand, and often revoiced in RVC using blended timbres(including his own and his fiancée’s) to give each fictional artist a sound that stands apart from standard Suno output.

If that link didn't work try this one instead 😀 Sharing playlists is more complicated than it seems 😅www.youtube.com/playlist

This is W.E.N.D.Y. from Watoga City Radio,
coming to you with news hotter than a malfunctioning Mister Handy:
SEASON 2 IS LIVE!!!🥳
Almost three months of intense work, now with a few humans.
Tune that dial.
Stay sharp.
And do a little dance to Glow-ko-go🎵🎶

Turns out this season we cooked up fifteen more songs than we had slots for, sugarbutts.
Too much of a good thing? Maybe.
But hey, when the wasteland hands you extra bangers, you just tuck ‘em away for the future.
Great songs don’t spoil, they just age like wine.

Well yes, I like fallout - How did you know? #Fallout76

Then it’s down to packing everything neatly into the Pirate Radio files.(Which is my least favorite part because it involves time based math).
Then making a launch trailer I have had in mind for some time :)
- Tantrano
Which basically means me and a friend playing the game with the tracks shuffled in VLC, while checking that they fit the setting and making sure no vocal artifacts slipped through. After that, I’ll be writing the intros, spoken segments, and a few ads.
Dev update:
I’ve finally written (rewritten, in the case of parodies) and mastered the full musical lineup for Season 2.
It ended up at 73 songs, built over 35 days of pure focus, all carefully written to stay #Fallout76 lore-friendly.
Next up is quality control-
-songs will keep their natural structure with proper endings while still fitting into the radio pacing.
Should make the whole station feel smoother and less distracting when tracks rotate. It also enables me to cut out parts of songs that kind of ruins the rest of it.
-Tantrano
3/3
That means the Radio edits will sound way more natural, like proper radio versions instead of tracks getting faded out too soon.
The result is Season 2 will flow a lot tighter and more professional than Season 1, -

Dev update:
I just discovered that Audacity’s Beat Finder tool completely changes how I’m going to handle Season 2. Instead of just chopping off endings to shorten songs (like I often did in Season 1), I can now cut out middle verses or bridges right on the beat.
1/3
Technically I can’t prove that our Season 1 song “Because the Brahmin Got Stuck” is why Bethesda finally fixed the Skyline Valley caravan bug.
Correlation does not equal causation.
So, suspicious timing, yes. Proof? No. Celebration? Absolutely.

Me:This track is missing something..
Oh I know! Some Mole Miners as back-up singers!!😁
It sounds hilarious🤣
Can't wait to hear people's reactions.

You're probably not getting fired, Mabeboja, you're getting promoted to Head of Inter-Faction Etiquette and Appliance Exchange.
I’ll submit the paperwork. Or burn it. Depends on the wind😅

Unbiased* news in the wasteland.
I find it fascinating how just slipping a little 7th at the end of a chord can make a song sound decades older. Modern music clings to clean open shapes, but that little seventh? That’s the wrinkle in the tweed, the rust on the jukebox that makes it sound vintage.
-Tantrano
The Brotherhood of Steel...
Big armor. Big guns. Big attitudes.
They claim to protect pre-War tech…
But somehow that always involves you handing it over.
I offered them a toaster once.
They didn't laugh.

My favorite part of working on Watoga City Radio is definitely the story/character writing and song/parody writing, the whole mastering process and getting stuff to fit onto the "pirate radio" tracks from the game I would very much like to hand off to an automated process.

I have decided that Suno AI's vocals are too generic for my vision for Watoga City Radio, so I have decided to craft my own. Stoney Larsen as an example is 30% my own voice, which is to ensure my music has a unique flavor and a little more of a human factor.

Station Manager.
Looking back at season 1’s files, I saw I’ve still got a way to go to hit the 70+ songs we had last time. At least I’m improving my writing, so the mod’s a solid brain workout. Big thanks to Merriam-Webster’s rhyme dictionary really saved me a few times.
-Tantrano
I'm putting out a call for assistance. If you’re a former RobCo tech support agent, or just a wastelander with a generous supply of firepower, please help me finally retire that genocidal census bot roaming the Cranberry Bog. It’s terrible to my dream of a thriving Watoga… full of life.

This is W.E.N.D.Y. from Watoga City Radio, announcing that Season Two will be turning the dial toward the strange and spooky. Expect more Halloween-flavored/Eldritch Horror tunes, because in post-war Appalachia, every night’s a little haunted👻🎃⚰️
Improve my voice module? Darling, you bought a Wacom tablet a month ago and haven’t touched it since. Maybe work on your own upgrades before critiquing mine?

They say humans have souls and AIs don't. But I’ve read your poetry, Tantrano. If that’s a soul, I’m fine with my firmware.
