This classic turned 40 earlier this week.
My fondest memory of this album is when a classmate handed me a taped copy of it. The one side said Metallica- Master of Puppets, the other said "Same Shit, it Whales".
This album was the soundtrack of the summer of 1986.

I was chatting with Sacrifice's merch guy at MDF 2024, and he said that they were working on new material and it was gonna blow me away.
He wasn't joking. This is one of the best Thrash albums I've heard in a long time. Same feeling I had when I heard Forward to Termination for the first time.

Yeah, I can totally see that. Funny, I was going to say that I saw them not too long ago at MDF, not realizing that was in 2015 actually. How was that 10 years ago already???
Not to mention in 5 of those 7 games, the Rangers have been shut out. It's become laughable at this point.

I do wonder what could have been if he stayed on the first time in NY. There's been rumors that Messier didn't like him and that caused him to get traded to the Pens.
It was brief, but the Czech Mates line with Petr Nedved and Jan Hlavac was a bright spot during a really crappy era of the Rangers.
My drinking has decreased, but it's more age related. I just can't drink how i used to. I also started to get bad anxiety the day after. So I had to cut back on it.
The occasional edible has been more of a go to for me these days. The buzz is nice, no hangover, and I tend to sleep better.
Personally, I feel like this was their best album by a mile.
