They didn't think about the same sex couples either. While 80-90% of women in heterosexual marriages may still take their spouse's name, same-sex couples often create new, combined names or keep their own. And, dare I say, they tend to lean left more than right.

Nice uplifting message. More empathy and understanding. While I always hope for everyone to live with love and harmony, disagreements will happen. With more empathy, you disagreement is less likely to turn into hate.
