We should have kept pressing at 2-0, to try and get a third. They've had more possession than I'd like to see, in the last 15 mins of 1st half. Just hope we up the intensity a bit and get our passing accuracy back, as we struggled in their period of dominance they had.

Win the FA cup on Saturday and forced to play a title-deciding game on the Monday. Absolutely mad when you think of it.

True. It's funny, you have games that you think we'll get points from and we don't, then games like last night where you think we'll get nothing and we win. If we can get 4-7 points from our next three fixtures, that would be unreal. Hopefully going to Spurs, we have a cushion and we don't lose.

I know they're playing poorly, but De Zerbi might get a tune out of them. Looking at their fixtures I think you might be right, but I just think 7 will make absolutely sure from our perspective. They have to go to Villa and Chelsea who are fighting for Champions League, too.

7 points from 18 should do it. That would mean Spurs need 14 from 18 and given their current form that's improbable. West Ham would need 12 and Forest 11, to overtake us - if we get 7 from 18. We are definitely capable of getting 7 from our home games alone. Farke reckoned 38 was target. Need more.

Why did they take him out tonight? He was still pitching well, I thought? I don't know much about baseball, but as soon as he was replaced, Arizona scored easily.

Problem all season. Bowen should never have gotten that shot off, Justin letting that ball fall over his head was a terrible decision and then Bowen was given far too much time to shoot. We defend that situation as we should have it's game over. That lifted them and then we panicked.

Our inability to see out matches has to be seriously questioned. We have conceded late goals all season and it's cost us so many points. And now today...

Don't know how anyone can look at that tackle on Stach and say "that's a natural coming together" as clear a foul as you'll see anywhere on the pitch. Nmenca does the exact same type of challenge 10 mins later and is booked. Absolutely shocking by VAR, but then I expect nothing else at this point...

Nmecha booked for exact same challenge minutes later.

Exactly the same challenge by Nmencha and he gets booked. We lose Stach to injury, and West Ham player's challenge us in the box, "it's a natural coming together" play on. VAR is a shambles. #lufc

"A natural coming together". Go. And. Fuck. It's a penalty all day long. #lufc

Unfortunately, it's been our achiles heal since Farke's arrival. That when his sides face a team sitting deep, a "low block" if you prefer, invariably we lose or draw. 0 goals in league in March when we've had decent fixtures. I had hoped for a minimum of 5 points in those games. We've gotten 2.

Gudmundsun's second yellow it was unclear to me, who fouled who. It was clear when Bramall brandished the yellow he recognised he messed up, but it was too late at that stage. Then Johnson with as clear a yellow as you'll see in second half, cynically fouling James and the card stays in his pocket.

Nationalise it. Cost it at a pound, and turn it in to a council run, public course. That'll piss him off even more.

Was he pissed off that play didn't continue when Calvert-Lewin was gonna pick up possession creating another Leeds attack? The free he awarded to Rodri in the box, when Gudmundsun brushed against him was galling, given, that the same thing happened Gudmundsun seconds later and he gave nothing.

The team we play next Friday beat us comprehensively at their place. Really need to forget about today, focus on Friday and get back to the form we've showed since start of December. Friday is a must win, or must not lose. We could do with getting Bijol back ASAP. Tough run of games coming up.

A chastening result. Two games against Arsenal where we simply couldn't handle their set-pieces. Created very little, but in truth a game we wouldn't have been expecting anything from. Our biggest game of the season now next Friday. IMO, it is simply a must win. #lufc

Whether we'd have held on to the lead or not, we'll never know. However, those last three changes could have, and probably should have been made ten minutes earlier. Decent point on the road. Played incredible in first half and should have been more than one ahead at the break. #lufc

What an absolute crock of shite VAR is.

Absolutely bonkers.

Why was he so quick to give a free kick a few minutes earlier, in the Moroccon area, when Senegal scored, when there was no foul? It looks terrible... it looks corrupt.

Indeed. I do still feel we've earned 4-5 points less than our performances have deserved over the season so far.

I'd be looking for one in this transfer window.

Isn't Wirtz's knee ahead of his foot? How is his foot being used to determine he is onside in the digital image?

He was doing what he is coached to do. To push on when we are clearing a corner. He had no part to play in the concession of that goal, as far as I am concerned.

3 months ago 0 0 0 0

Make sure of what? He has to try and get up the pitch. Ampadu should have cleared it.

3 months ago 0 0 1 0

He shouldn't have been on the pitch. He was clearly injured.

3 months ago 1 0 0 0

The goal came because Ampadu didn't clear it as he should have. You're told to push out when clearing a corner. The goal had absolutely nothing to do with Aaronson. You need to lay off him. IMO, he's been our best player in that half, and only for an unbelievable goal line clearance he'd have scored

You've 1.5 days to chase down 435 and save the Ashes. Surely anything outside off stump is just left alone. There has to be a better opening batsman than Ben Duckett for England to select? He hasn't been the only one, but for a test match opening batsman, he has been very poor on this tour. #ashes
