"machines can generate meaning" - writes Marche.
I will have to ask a machine to explain his piece to me, then. Because, for the life of me, I cannot make any sense of it.

Got into a rabbit hole after reading about the Shy Girl case. MY HEAD IS SPINNING.
This is the dumbest thing I have ever read.
How can you possibly think the point is about enjoying content or not? I have myself enjoyed things that I later on discovered were 100% AI written. Point is: my view of those creators is ruined and I cannot trust them, no matter how much I try or want to.
I honestly suspect that he vacillates like this in order to push what people will accept as a norm. The news cycle has moved on from him kidnapping the president of Venezuela, or threatening to invade Greenland, or colonizing Palestine or— it’s not distraction.
It’s abuser behaviour.
Members of Congress in both parties welcomed President Trump’s announcement Tuesday night of cease-fire between the United States and Iran, but Democrats continued to raise grave questions about the path forward after weeks of war without congressional authorization.
We took a really wrong turn when starting to think of computing "effiency" in terms of human effort (LLMs, "vibe coding", etc.) rather that computational resources (i.e. algorithm design and optimization).
Why did the field of Computing Science allow this to pass?
During this incredible, unifying moment of inspiring international cooperation and spectacular technological achievement, I would really appreciate it if the US president would stop threatening to murder an entire country with bombs.
Reid Wiseman on #Artemis II: "We have Earth out window 4 and Moon out window 3... the Moon is about 3-4 times the size of the Earth and it is almost full, and the Earth is just a small crescent out there... it's magnificent... such a majestic view out here"
Mission Control: "Amaze, amaze, amaze!"

Genuine question to the #OpenScience fellow advocates in this space: is (y)our advocacy still relevant? what is THE burning question nowadays in the open research world? why does it still matter?
Remember the 1920s when nobody was left-handed
servono dati aperti, accessibili e accurati per capire la violenza di genere in Italia. dati che mancano, e che chiediamo a gran voce.

Happy 10th Anniversary to the JOHD: openhumanitiesdata.metajnl.com. It's wonderful to celebrate open access to humanities data as supported by this journal. And thank you for inviting me to speak about our work www.hiddenheritages.ai where we provide access to digitised Irish and Gaelic folktales.

"to rely on someone to perform some action is to be disposed to act and believe under the assumption that this person can and tries to complete this action. /
> “I’m working on my Sunday column and I’m going to play bridge this afternoon,” she told one reporter, “so I don’t have time to read all this crap.”
Literally an icon and not only excellent social media disposition but also a natural on "media training"
These are stunning!
