Been thinking I need to dip my toe into this series soon.

So sorry, Manda ❤️
We picked up Sky Team and Floristry and thought 'would be great to have a nicer dinning table to play boardgames on' and then went and bought a new dining room table with new chairs.
Very expensive boardgames...
I'm a firm believer in dropping games I'm not enjoying, 40 hours is a lot of chances.
(I often don't take my own advice and drag games out way too long hah)
Skull saying 'RIDE FOR ME YOU BEAST'
Have only played the beginning of this so far, but Skate Story is such a vibe so far. Really beautiful game, and the skating is well done.
Money exhibit it reconstructed mock gallery.
Inside the Monet exhibit with the paintings being projected onto the walls.
Also went to Monet: The Immersive Experience. Not quite as cool as the Van Gogh one but still really interesting and relaxing. The projection wasn't as good, but the background and exhibits leading up to it were better.
Mona Lisa in Lego
Scream in Lego
American Gothic in Lego
Tiger made of Lego
Went to the Art of the Brick Lego exhibition in Toronto today, really cool. Felt like pixel art come alive.
Camel coloured Traveler's Notebook with the pen on top.
New pen day, Kaweco Art Sport, and I picked up my first Traveller's Notebook!
Love this, I've been wanting to get into some of these as well. Excited to hear about them. Hope you're doing a bit better! ❤️
The hardest decision while packing - which gaming device do I bring??
Steam Deck, Switch 2, maybe my 3DS or Vita to catch up on some older games, maybe the Miyoo Mini? 🤔
Thief or Triage in groups, Assassin in solo for safer exfills.
Having such a blast with it.
Book cover. Carl holding Samantha over his head, with Donut and Prepotante by his side.
2026 reading thread!
The Butcher's Masquerade by Matt Dinniman
This one really felt like a return to form, maybe my favourite of the series so far? A much more cohesive plot over the last couple of books, and just a tonne of fun. The audiobook is astonishingly well narrated.

I need to jump back into it. Very comforting game.
Sitting in an Endodontics office waiting for a root canal consultation (😢) and they went with the cracked glass look for all of their windows. Looks like someone screamed during surgery and shattered everything nearby.
Box of Fallout branded Jones soda, Sunset Sarsaparilla.
Couldn't help myself! I'm an easy marketing target.
I keep meaning to listen to more from them! This game was my first introduction.
You definitely have to be in the right mood for it, I think, but if it does click it's just brilliant. For whatever reason, I was hooked as soon as I heard that first Whirling-in-Rags background music. Was just the vibe I wanted at the time.
My dog has never helped me clean the house. 😢
I'm really enjoying it. I was put off by the previews I watched, particularly the aesthetics, but I'm really digging it a lot now - the style, the gunplay, the gameplay loop.
Definite room for improvement in many places, but a fun game for sure.
Just unlocked Outpost in Marathon and it is straight up nuts in here.
Yeah, this was the first issue we've had, hoping it was a one-time thing. Really enjoying it otherwise, though.
We tried to start up a co-op session on Sunday and couldn't get it going, so I'm hoping they fixed something there.
Split between a few gameS right now - Marathon, Nioh 3, Plague Tale, and StS2. Been meaning to get back on FFXIV as well. Too many games!
I'm surprised by how much it has hooked me as well, great game.
I even dug the look and style of the game, which is what really put me off in the videos I watched beforehand.
Curiosity got the better of me, and I tried Marathon. Only did a couple runs, but it was way better than I thought it would be based on what I've been hearing.
Shooting felt good, robots were creepy.
Who knows if it will grab me long term, but decent first impression.
I've only just encountered them, but they seem intense. One for Samurai, one for Ninja, and one for each of the weapon types, and each one looks pretty deep.
First time playing this franchise, and its been surprising already in a few ways.
Currently paralyzed with skill tree choices, though.
That first Yamagata Masakage boss fight was a tough one, really had fun with it. Took me quite a few tries and forced me to figure out how to fight, which was great.
I'm a little worried that coop is going to trivialize future bosses. Hoping the difficulty scales up to handle that, but we'll see!
