Happy birthday!

All three whiskies showed a promising start from this new indie bottler. I wouldn't say any of the drams blew my socks off but they were all fairly solid and priced accordingly (i.e decently) – which is always good to see. Looking forward to seeing what the next outturn includes. #TheNetherfield

The final dram from the recent tasting with @thewhiskywire.bsky.social and #TheNetherfield is some lovely, lovely Linkwood. This is all lemon meringue pie for me, with hints of dried apricots & crystallised ginger 😋 And 45 quid? That's a decent price.

A couple of birthday drams for me this evening. First up a delicious Pulteney. This is a cracking #whisky. Salted caramel all the way. Second is a juicy Penderyn. This is like undiluted Ribena 😋

Time for dram 2 from the recent #TheNetherfield tasting. A few sips in & this blended malt is pretty juicy. Lots of bruised red apple notes together with hints of Ginger Nut biscuits.
