11 college football teams facing big post-spring questions Eleven notable teams and CFP contenders head into summer with some unresolved things that need answers.

2026 PREVIEWS START NEXT WEEK. But first, I wanted to talk about some particularly interesting teams, from Bama (Keelon Russell better be amazing) to Oregon (can they stick the landing?) to BYU (am I wrong again?) to NDSU (wish they'd have made the jump last year).

Ha, we did too, but there was an old one tucked away that we’d never noticed. When I took the batteries out of the Nests and the beeping didn’t stop, I felt a rush of insanity that I’d never felt before.

In my experience, it will be from a smoke detector you had no idea existed and can’t find.

Yeah, I realize the framing always has to be around Arsenal bottling it and whatnot, but ... they were good! City were better (especially in two specific moments).

I tried to tell you.

Honestly the best and most proactive they've looked in a while. I realize the early deficit contributed to that, but they looked dangerous! Other than that whole "couldn't finish to save their lives" thing, lol.

Union Berlin becomes the first major-league club to hire a female head coach and proceeds to get xG'd to all hell in her first match. Seems rude.

Ha, with how much we're getting ready to spend on the World Cup, this has not been the spring to pitch an overseas trip. Otherwise I'd be begging for a Wednesday-Schalke double.

We’ve reached the “fans happily bawling in the stands” part of the soccer season, aka the best part.

I mean, they also openly stomped teams while scoring the most goals in the Champions League league phase. They were the best team in the world from August until somewhere in Feb or March. Bayern was the only team that was close, and they stomped Bayern.

Love it, though I'm just assuming there's no decision on those charges until 2037. (And the decision will be, like, six points and £10 million.)

Wasn't really talking about my own feelings there -- just that they were clearly at a different level, and people were just recycling old narratives. (Also, the way they tore up Champions League teams that were trying to play an open game certainly helped my aesthetic impressions.)

On the other hand ... it seems like they're seriously considering collapsing at the moment, and that would be very, very funny.

Very torn about City-Arsenal this weekend. On one hand, the lazy, monthslong "Is this where they collapse? What about now? What about now? Okay, what about now? ...NOW??" narrative was super annoying when Arsenal were clearly at a new level and clearly the best team on the planet for about 7 months.

I’ve written weekly about soccer for six years now, and I’m pretty sure I still screw up the “Tottenham is/are” thing approximately 17 times per piece.

God I loved this song in high school. One of the five best songs of the '90s. (Don't make me show my work on that claim.)

Champions League semifinal predictions: Arsenal, PSG to advance? The UEFA Champions League quarterfinals largely lived up to expectations, with three of four games going down to the wire. Now that the dust has settled, let's break down the semifinals and predict wh...

* That was borderline reckless, Bayern. I approve.
* [whistles] Damn, PSG
* Cholo was born for this
* You picked a bad time to forget how to finish, Gunners

There are multiple ways to see out a one-goal advantage, and I thank Bayern for choosing the better/dumber one.

I want Barcelona and Atlético Madrid to play once a week in perpetuity until I tell them to stop. Most ridiculously fun matchup in soccer for more than a year now.

By far the best angle/soundtrack of The Face Goal that I've seen so far.
