I don't think I've ever watched it fully. I had a friend who praised it like the gospel. Even spent a year blogging about the original series.

It's hard to believe it's been 20 years.

When was the last one with Colin Ferrell and Jamie Foxx? Like you, I'd be more interested in Jordan and Butler pairing than a nostalgic reboot.

I was wondering if I was alone? Lighter tones, a lot of humor. If there is violence, make it either off page or so over the top it defies reality. I mean if a kaiju eats the billionaire stand-in, I'm okay with that.

What kind of fiction do you read? Has the current administration and world events changed your reading preferences? Or intensified them.

I read authors like @scalzi.com, @theauthorguy.bsky.social, @aleemartinez.bsky.social as an enjoyable palate cleanser. It's becoming the norm. Not a bad thing.

Visibility is a big issue on the @bsky.app. I'd forgotten I followed that user who posts regularly, but not seen in my feed in a while.

"Dust Bunny" (2025) director Bryan Fuller. As a fan of his TV work, why hasn't he directed before?

Recommended.

Do libraries have audio books? I really should utilize the library. It's one of the only things in my town that's been modernized. And having a time limit to read would be beneficial.

If it had been a cage match, not sure you'd have had a chance. Megan is fierce.

I remember The Two Ronnies as a kid. We had like 4 channels on the TV, one being PBS. My introduction to British TV consisted of Bennie Hill, Faulty Towers, Doctor Who, All Creatures Great and Small, and The Two Ronnies. The latter stuck out because of my name.

But do your socks match? Of course living in FL, you might not even wear socks.

Morning, Gabino! Thanks!

This bad boy has climbed to #40 in the Grief, Death, and Bereavement category over on the Amazon. Could it crack the top ten?
A man can dream.

Tonight I’m simply feeling guilty. What could I have done to get more readers for this great author? Sell more of his books? Please read his work in whatever medium you can.

Were some of these adapted, or was Clive Owen just a pretty cover model? Gives tie-in vibes.

What's on cat TV?

Making me feel old, Alex. I was in college when X-Men #1 came out. My first X-Men comic might have been Giant-Sized X-Men. Not when it originally came out, too young. Most of my first comics came second hand from flea markets or used bookstores. I think I was 13/14 when I discovered a comic shop.

My first response is talk to a human. Though the other day the "human" attendant didn't feel all that human.

Over at @shotgunhoney.com Bishop Rider is back. If you're a fan of Beau's work considering getting a copy, and if you have the OG release already, buy a copy for a friend or a friend of a friend. Maybe your second cousin's father's boss's secretary's son's friend who works acquisitions at Netflix.
