This is surreal. 4 Oglala Lakota men kidnapped by ICE in Minneapolis have finally been located. One of them was released but the other 3 are being held at Fort Snelling, a former concentration camp used to imprison Native people incl. the Dakota 38 during Dakota Wars.

Slipped on icy stairs on Saturday night and got a minor concussion and other owies from it… I didn’t hit my head but I felt my brain get rocked from the fall, ugh. I’m all worried about the things I need to get done but I know I probably shouldn’t be on the computer. I am getting better though…

October 31st: I was a Sky Being / Star Person (with Native aesthetics) for a friend’s Inner/Outer Space themed party. I felt so beautiful and Indigenous that I thought I should dress this way more regularly. #halloween

Ah that’s great you haven’t had COVID! That’s amazing, considering all these years and living in the big city. If it’s not as bad as the flu then it would still be worth it imo. Sorry your schedule isn’t letting you rest. :(

Obviously go with science and what you know. I had an extreme fibromyalgia reaction to one of the last Covid vaccines I had, and with how painful it was, I feel pretty hesitant now. I wish there was more informed medical care for people with fibromyalgia, neurodivergence, mast cell issues, etc.

With mast cell stuff being off, I think vaccines can be tricky with how the body can react… think it’s something to weigh alongside other risks. You might be one of the people for whom it might not be the ideal solution.

I complimented a queer acquaintance on their glasses—this person always has cool glasses. They let me try on their glasses and I was absolutely surprised and delighted that they looked good on me too. This is a style I have never tried before, rimless on the top with rims on the bottom. #vooglam
