I mind looking at all the Martin hysteria thinking they were massively overreacting.

Now we're on the other side of it, holy fuck.

Had some mates up on Saturday and we managed to get the entire village pub singing Wild Mountain Thyme as Scotland were getting pumped 3-0 to Greece.

Sensational.

450 tickets is not a movement.
As much as I was excited by the idea of their party, it's done, it's washed. Polanski has completely stolen that momentum in E&W and the SGP will be the ones that benefit. YP fucked it.

I also agree thousands are coming out of the woodwork to jump on him, but I think that's cause they fundamentally hate him.

They'll likely be meat-eaters so I'll treat their view on animal cruelty as the hypocrisy it is.

That's the thing, I know people who treat their dogs very very well on the face of it, but use a choke chain, or use a head collar. I've no doubt he loves his dog, but there's just too much evidence of it being a shock collar.

What about QT noting the collar was taped over?

I'm a Hasan fan but I also believe he did it. He has a bit of a history of using, let's say, "legacy" training methods, and he clearly removed the pins from the collar overnight and showed a taped over one the next day. Even QT said it was taped over when she saw it.

Completely avoided my point. My context is I've worked in and around the NHS for 20 years. I've also recently sat with my mum waiting for an ambulance for 16 hours. I've seen it deteriorate, but at least I can be happy knowing if we were in England I'd maybe have had to wait 16 hours and 15 mins πŸ‘

I think people need to stop accepting mediocrity and failure just because ideologically they are sympathetic to the government

We had to form a human chain like the Runrig section of a wedding to stop someone walking a washing machine - slowly - out the shop

Hill farmers are dumping wool because there is 'no money' for it - cllr Fianna FΓ‘il Cllr. Justin Warnock has called for the government to "come up with a plan" for the use of wool.

At a time of climate and nature collapse, farmers are paid subsidies to maintain all of Ireland's uplands as ecological deadzones. For what?

For the production of wool that's then dumped.

You could NOT make it up.

And we have a heat pump! 5kw, 200L tank, UFH downstairs and 2 rads and a towel rail upstairs in bedrooms and bathroom. Installed by a Heat Geek approved installer. Water set at 52 degrees with 10 degree hysteresis. Able to comfortably have baths! Almost looking forward to the colder weather now.

I bought a house that had one already and we used it cause the house didn't have a combi boiler/hot water at taps so it was kinda the only way to wash dishes.
Last week we got a heat pump put in and we're back to having hot water, and back to washing dishes by hand. Like a pair of legends.

For the first time in 6 months I have hot water coming out of my taps. Huge news.
Heat pump is installed!

Can't wait to have endless conversations with old bastards saying things like "aye, but they don't work when it gets cold do they?"
