I'm surprised at how they were able to recapture the whimsy and adventure of Avatar. It's cool to have the Gaang back together, even Katara's solid. I'm surprised at how they kept Korra in mind when making this. IFYKYK.

25) Smiling Friends
The FriendBot episode was a bit heavy handed, and if that's one of the ones we got, I can see why they said they were running low on steam. I think the proper final episode was a high note to go out on though. It was funny to hear Bender voice.

24) Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions!
I swear a third of this cast are like cryptids in their own show. The main couple is obviously fleshed out and the comic relief tsundere battle carries a few episodes. The male friend, second season rival and THE CUMIN just seem to get a new weird bit each ep.

23) Futurama: Bender's Big Score
Futurama genuinely is one of the best animated comedies for a movie, and while it doesn't feel like a movie animation wise, the scale and narrative feel big enough to warrant being called one. I like this one.

22) Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club the Movie - Chapter 2
I was pretty excited for Kamen Rider Geats' debut as a School Idol, but this was at its core, still a Nijigasaki movie, so it focused less on the clever fox and more on the yuri between Rina and New Yorker Mia Taylor. Cozy time.

Happy Easter!
This one feels more like a movie than a lot of the All Riders/Taisen-type movies, though it still ends with a point and wait for your boy section. All Riders is a funny concept because All Riders includes Ouja.

This is a point and pog movie, and I guess I'm a liberal because I didn't enjoy it. I used the subtitle file for Heisei Generations Final and got this out of it and that was the most I felt.

19) The Angry Video Game Nerd: The Movie
I haven't seen this since it came out, and it's loooong. There's at least 30 minutes worth of good stuff in this. I'm not huge on the Malcolm or Tamara characters, but the rest of the supporting cast is fine. The Nerd should have brawled more.

I'm a fan of Rock Gym Leaders in general because they tend to get fossils, with Roxanne's rematch team in Emerald being Champion class for me. She's also just a cutie.

I think one of the best parts of last year was watching Kamen Rider Saber around the same time I was rewatching Stupid Mario Brothers and realizing how much overlap these two series have in the dumbest ways. The Sword of Logos sounds like a faction in Stupid Mario Bros.
