It might be the best meal Yoongi's ever had.

Namjoon's eyes are blissfully closed, but he must sense Jin sitting down across from him at the table and pulling a still slightly wobbly Yoongi into his lap, because he opens them just long enough to share a split second glance with Yoongi that warms him all the way down to his toes.

'I-' a pause, then a single nod. Jin doesn't let go of his hand as he leads them to the table where the maknes have already started eating and Hoseok is holding up a tiny battery-powered fan to Namjoon's face while rubbing the back of his neck.

The maknes all pile into seats around the table, and Jin appears next, offering a hand. 'Up you get Yoongichi, come on. You can sit in hyung's lap if the chair is too hard.'

'What, are you gonna feed me like I'm Jungkook too?'

It's meant to be a joke but Jin's face softens. 'If you want me to.'

'No no, I just--just need a minute. Go on and sit down Jungkook-ah, hyung will be right behind you.'

'Not after that you won't,' teases Jimin, making Yoongi snort and lazily flip him off.

Jungkook's gotten a bottle of water from the fridge and is bringing it over to Yoongi who gratefully takes a large swig.

'Did hyung fuck you so good you can't even walk now?' he asks, pushing Yoongi's slightly sweaty bangs back from his forehead. The question is so oddly sincere it's endearing.

Taehyung just huffs a sigh. 'We keep saying we'll do all the work,' he pouts. It hasn't swayed Yoongi yet.

It's Taehyung's turn to laugh. 'Round three? What happened to no I won't sleep with you and Jimin because I'm too old and tired to keep up?'

'Nothing happened and I still mean it. You two are insatiable.'

Jin rolls his eyes. 'You couldn't keep it in your pants until after dinner?'

'Don't be too mad at him hyung,' comes Yoongi's voice from the couch, 'round three was my fault.'

Namjoon's only marginally more composed, taking a look at the others' expressions ranging from fond exasperation to outright leering and bursting into laughter.

'We said we'd be home,' he grins, ducking his eyes down sheepishly.

It's decided they can wait a little longer, and sure enough a few minutes later Namjoon appears, carrying Yoongi in his arms till he can deposit him on the couch. It's obvious they only cleaned up just enough to be decent, Yoongi's chest is still flushed red beneath his tank top, chest still heaving

But then a loud moan rings clear as a bell down the hallway, followed by a litany of cursing.

'I guess they're home after all,' Jimin giggles.

It's time for dinner though, so they're just about to shrug and start without them. The others figure they probably got caught up at the studio, which isn't unheard of even when they were all supposed to have plans to eat together. It'll cost them some pretend annoyance later and cold leftovers.

thinking about Jin and JK in the kitchen making dinner for everyone, Jimin Tae and Hoseok hanging around chatting, helping set the table, etc, but Jimin texted Namjoon and Yoongi in the group chat 20 minutes ago and got no response.
