PabloReports: Who do you think Trump should fire next?

AOC: Is he out of women? Trump only seems to have the capability to fire female secretaries. If you’re a man in the Trump administration, it seems that they reward misconduct.

The thing about this insistence that rape victims have some terrifying moral power that ruins men’s lives and compels the public to do anything to avenge them is that it has never once happened. What actually happens is that victims who disclose are ruined and men who are accused gain.

Rep. David Scott, a Georgia Democrat, dies at 80 Scott, the first Black chairman of the House Agriculture Committee, was first elected to Congress in 2002 and was facing a competitive primary.

The really uncomfortable truth is that David Scott couldn't do the job long before he died. He could barely talk, verbally berated a photographer who took a photo of him in a wheelchair. He didn't vote in 2024 and had the gall to run for re-election last month.

every trump nomination, regardless of position, should have been a unified "no" from the democrats

that is literally the bare minimum, and the party not only failed at that in the first few months -- THEY ARE STILL FAILING AT THAT NOW

Weird that they would fire the navy secretary who’s been overseeing a war we’ve won at least five times.

I’ll support any Dem that moves to kick Palantir off the public dole and out of doing business with the US.

What do Levi’s, Hanes, and Chewy have in common?

California AG Rob Bonta just revealed evidence alleging that Amazon used its power to pressure them, and countless other brands, to inflate prices of listings on rival online marketplaces as part of wide-ranging price-fixing scheme.

Outrageous. @chiosse.bsky.social was protecting one of his neighbors from eviction, as a result of deed theft — a plague in Central Brooklyn right now. There was no reason for NYPD officers to roughly throw him to the ground. It sure doesn’t make anyone safer. Release him now.

He's a liar and a killer. I don't know what else to tell people, he's a rich eugenicist, he wants as many poor people as possible to die in the name of 'health.' He's a genuinely and uniquely malign figure in American life and his appointment was an act of violence

Say what you will about the worst members of the Roberts Court, but they all make sure their wives are in on the grift.

Jane Roberts, Martha Alito and Ginni Thomas are equal partners with their husbands in the grand project of destroying the United States and enriching themselves in the process.

Biden's point man on Lebanon and one of his overall most important advisor for MENA said yesterday morning that he agreed with Trump's strikes on Iran last year lol.

Democrats really need to reassess how people like this were (and still are) allowed to be at the top of their foreign policy echelon.

A clip from The New York Times reads: "But only the entities that officially paid the tariffs are eligible to recover that money. That means that the fuller universe of people affected by Mr. Trump’s policies — including millions of Americans who paid higher prices for the products they bought — are not able to apply for direct relief.

The extent to which consumers realize any gain hinges on whether businesses share the proceeds, something that few have publicly committed to do. Some have started to band together in class-action lawsuits in the hopes of receiving a payout."

The average American family paid $1,700 in tariffs last year, according to the bipartisan Congressional Joint Economic Committee. Few will ever see any of that money back. The refunds will go to companies, if doled out at all. What a joke.

Add "farmers in the American West whose farms are only viable because they are given incredibly scarce water resources for 5 cents on the dollar" to the car dealers and realtors — destructive, unproductive conservative groups that we need to reduce the influence of when we're back in power.

Hey, Beshear, Lis Smith, & associated Majority Dem-types:

If you want to kill group-speak, how about we start with “officer-involved shooting,” “ice agent involved-shooting,” “weaponized vehicle” & other mealy-mouthed obfuscations of state-sanctioned murder?

In the same manifesto, Palantir's owners argued that we need a national military draft, that soft power is over, and that we were too hard on Germany and Japan after World War II. I don't think that company should be allowed to exist anymore.

At a time when mass surveillance and autonomous weapons companies like Palantir are openly announcing their plans for violent world domination, it is crucial that our attempts at “big tech reform” don’t actually give them more power—ie via government mandated age verification/identity software

A lot of people are still in the denial about how much the median Democratic voter, the median Democratic volunteer, and the median Democratic activist has shifted on a variety of issues. Well here's the handpicked candidate of Chuck Schumer being booed, about Gaza, at the Dem convention.

Judge Orders Colorado to Stop Throwing Prisoners in Solitary for Refusing to Work - Bolts Years after voters amended the state's constitution to ban forced labor in prison, a court ruling could finally make Colorado change how prison guards "compel and coerce" work.

Nadia refused a prison kitchen shift in Colorado. So she was locked in solitary for 30 days. Colorado voters banned prison slavery in 2018. But it continued. This year, a judge ordered the state to stop locking people in solitary for refusing to work.
