Afroman Wins Verdict Rejecting Lawsuit Filed by Ohio Cops Over Mocking Music Videos Afroman won a jury verdict rejecting a lawsuit from police officers who claim the rapper defamed them by mocking them in social media music videos.

At trial in Adams County, Afroman told jurors from the witness stand that he had a constitutional right to make artistic and critical content, particularly about government officials. That argument echoed what the ACLU wrote when it called the lawsuit against Afroman “nothing short of absurd.”
