I'm at the BAS members weekend and one of the first finds of the day was this Argyroneta aquatica which was a lifer for most of us, including me. @britishspiders.bsky.social

It's the Fenland form so if ever you're round that way in Autumn you should have a chance. I don't mind showing you where it is if you're in the east.

I went back for more Wasp Spiders and wasn't disappointed. I even saw a male mate guarding, and due to forced perspective he appears bigger in my photo compared to his intended mate. Also Neoscona adianta and Araneus quadratus. @britishspiders.bsky.social

Lots of Moth-ers pot up anything they want to look at later and put them in the fridge. It calms them down without harming them.
