Unicorn Overlord Pt. 2—It’s insanely hard to take the unicorn seriously as a religious symbol, but that’s part of the charm to me. Upgrading gear and pursuing side quests take this game to the next level. If you even remotely enjoy Fire Emblem, check this one out!
Unicorn Overlord Pt. 1—I’m finally getting back into Unicorn Overlord after putting it down last year. This game does so many interesting things with the RTS formula that I would love to see creep its way into the TBS systems of Fire Emblem.
Split Fiction—Hazelight has struck gold yet again. It Takes Two rightfully won GOTY 2018 and Split Fiction is, imo, even better than It Takes Two. The variation in gameplay keeps me captivated, the writing has me genuinely laughing, and it’s gorgeous to boot.
Avowed Pt. 2—The combat feels insanely natural, and that’s saying a lot considering this is the first game I’ve played on my new PC after being a console player forever. The story isn’t Obsidian’s best ever, but it’s better than most games we get today.
Avowed Pt. 1—I’m a sucker for Obsidian’s games. I loved Fallout NV and The Outer Worlds SO much, so naturally I was excited as could be for Avowed. After 35ish hours of playing, I can safely say that I’m 100% satisfied with my experience.
