Also the heated rivalry between Ohio and North Carolina over who's more entitled to claim the Wright brothers fame. Ohio is like "One of the brothers was born here!" while North Carolina is like "Oh yeah? Well, they took flight from here!"

Thinking about state slogans and how Indiana's used to be "Crossroads of America" because the only reason you'd be there is to cross through to somewhere more interesting. Then they changed it to "More to discover" but don't elaborate on what. That's for you to figure out and report back to them.

Another ironic instance was as I was driving home today, I saw a tow truck parked on the street that was ticketed and booted, all while there was another car attached to his tow.
