We dropped into Wild Blue Restaurant for the first time and stoked to finally see in person one of @paulmorrisonphoto.bsky.social ‘s classics featuring me from the late 80’s. Honoured to be alongside an illustrious lineup of other long time Whistler icons.

Visited an old friend on a bike ride is Whistler. I owe the world to Murr. I actually got all choked up dropping by for the first time in 30 years. Sumo used to take us out in his convertible Cadillac with bullhorns to visit during summer camp. Two of my favourites on the “all dead ski team”

Thanks Andrew - keep up the good fight for us! I am also hoping you'll consider a mayoral run for 2027!!!

This is literally 1950's standards and the council should be ashamed of their inability to progress anything to create safe streets for all in a timely manner. @aaoakbay.bsky.social - please run for Mayor!!!

@districtofoakbay.bsky.social - another abject failure in civic duty of the leadership of Oak Bay to advance implementation for an approved cycling network infrastructure. Decades of delays due to reviews obstruction by Councillors Green, Braithwaite and Patterson & deciding vote of Mayor Kevin

The Salish Sea put on a dramatic Christmas display with a the biggest So. Easter of the year blowing through. Only two brave souls ventured out on the lee side of Clover Point where it was lining up like a left hand point break. Merry Christmas to all swerving on dirt, snow and ocean!! 🎅🎅🎅

The Winter Solstice is:
A chance to clean house, both inner and outer.
A time for reflection, rest and renewal.
A time for feeding the spirit and nurturing the soul.

Spend more time listening, watching and honoring the slower, quieter rhythm of the season.

Darkness and night are times of rest, dreaming, healing and growth.

Seeds must be put into the dark earth in order to send out roots and push up new shoots….

The winter solstice can be a beautiful reminder that our lives are part of a larger order that’s always changing and renewing.

A way to bring warmth, light and cheerfulness into the dark time of the year.

For many millenniums humans have marked this sacred time in the yearly cycle of life.
