You do make a good point. Gives me something to think about for sure.

That said, they do seem to have an extremely busy life so I dunno if they just dont realize I kinda like them, or if they don't share a mutual interest and are hoping I'll eventually just ride off into the sunset.

Who knows. It sounds like our paths may cross at FWA so maybe I can sus it out there.

Romance in this fandom is a cruel mistress.

I have a handful of furries who have expressed interest in me that I have had to politely (and repeatedly) tell I am not interested.

And then the one furry I do find myself really interested in doesn't even seem to realize I'm here.

I hope so. But he always seemed to hit these spirals of depression and seemed to compensate for with what would be best described as an "emotional spending addiction." And a lot of these purchases were unfortunately not small. He bought his dream car and I think that one could cost him everything.

Yeah, I dunno if this guy will ever dig his way out. Even when he was making decent money I highly suspect he was borrowing heavily to subsidize that. He was always hung up on trying to show off and the numbers just didn't seem to add up.

But at the same time he keeps talking about spending more and more money on failing projects and new toys for himself. At this rate he's gonna loose his damn house. 🙄

Weird night for me. I caught up with an old friend who was frankly terrible with his money. I'd always warned him about his spending, but it always fell on deaf ears. Recently he found himself barely making ends meet. I feel kinda sorry for him.

Ouch, that royally sucks. I have been there myself. The important thing is that nobody got hurt. Insurance will take care of the rest.

Just got an email from my accountant. Sounds like I will be getting a "substantial" tax refund this year. I think it's safe to say that after I top up my savings account there will be enough left for at least one new TF commission. Maybe even two.

Everybody loves tigers! And for good reason! They work in every situation, including TF!

On a small side note, a word of advice I would give to anyone buying a newer Ford. Grab an ELM327 cable off Amazon and look into a program called Forescan.

It allows you to disable/enable a lot of features on your vehicle and customize how your vehicle acts (stereo, lights, safety features, etc.)

Mind you, in hindsight, the one they issued me for work is a the sport model so it's a little bit of a different animal. I will be curious to hear how you like driving yours 😸

You do get used to it to some extent, though I find I'm constantly having to bypass the lane assist when I turn my cruise control on which is quite annoying.

It likes to fight you.

They're an interesting ride for sure, they feel a little like a small truck. I'm not sure how I feel about the turn dial gear select and all the autonomous driving futures.
