Since I know some people have said that the lack of video was the thing holding them back from coming to Bluesky, video is currently rolling out as I type. So it now has gifs, DMs, and video.

And it doesn't have an owner who uses the service to promote nonsense, lies, and hate.

Still not here, but just sharing that Bluesky has continued to grow and add more features, including built in gifs and DMs (as of today).

Don't bother telling me why you don't use it. I don't need to know.

People keep giving me more and bluesky invites, so I have a bunch more that I can give out later today. May take me a bit to respond as I have work to do, but will check back in later today.

Okay... done for now... need to do some work and this is always a bit more time intensive than I expect. Will be back to give out more later this week.

I was going to wait another week to give out more Bluesky codes, but people have donated some more, and I see that Bluesky is trending here again as more people seem to want to get out of here. If you need a code, reply here. I don't have a ton, but can give out some.

Since I see more nonsense is happening here... I have some more Bluesky invites (mostly given to me by others). I'm going out for much of the day, but will check in tonight. As always, I DM first to ask if you still need & will wait for a yes reply before I hand it out.

As quick as I've been giving these out, people keep sending me more to give out. So, I still have some to disperse. (FYI, some others reply and give out their own codes too, which is great. I try to confirm with people via DMs if they still need a code before giving it).

So, apparently Bluesky is having a huge signup day after the big boss man here said that he's going to institute a paywall for everyone... and... a few people have donated Bluesky invite codes for me to give out, so I have a few more (again, probably not enough for everyone).

Hello Xers... given that this place is definitively "no longer Twitter..." I have a few more Bluesky invites to give out to folks who want to get the hell out of this place. I don't have many, and will prioritize folks I know (since the invite tree at bsky matters).

Tweeted this, gave out a few, and then went away for a few hours... now I'm back and Bluesky has shut down new signups as they were getting overwhelmed. When they open up again, I'll hand out a few more. I don't have that many, but still have a small handful.

I might not have enough Twitter credits under the new tweet rationing system to check back, but I still have some Bluesky invites. Not enough for everyone who wants one, but feel free to ping me if you're looking, and I'll see if I can hook a few people up.
