So TL;DR
Investigated weird chirp sound coming from car. Mechanic says my car is a ticking time bomb. Sold her and got a new car. New car go uber vroom now.

So, I introduce Scratch. My new car, he goes fast and is a box of muscle.

He will be stickered up like Sapphi was.

I was not there when she had to be taken, I needed sleep and get ready for my date (I was running a 2 hour nap at that point).

The date went really well, but that lingering worry still settles hard in my chest. But after seeing my new car, I know it was the best choice

So, after going around on talking to family, the bank and the mechanic. I have come to a decision.

She had to be let go for my own safety and I will be getting my family's car that has been paid off. Which is a 2017 Ford Escape. A better car then my 2002 Ford Taurus

Repairs? Over the currently value of Sapphi. Which is over 2,000 dollars. So I had to come to a choice

Pay that amount for a car that isn't that value for my car
Drive her until she burns and risk my life
Or get the new car I was planning to get next year and give up my first car to the car gods.

I get a call from my elder (dad) and apparently. My car was fucked. It was not a serpentine belt as i thought, but she had so many other problems with her that if I drove her. She would be a ticking time boom. She would give out any moment & become nonfunctional

Came in on Friday at 7:45 am, had no sleep all Thursday and pushing through Friday. Dropped her off, talked the the mechanic and told the guy comes in at 9 but will tell me if they figured it out.

Family picked me up and took me home. Plan was to take a nap and wait for a call..

On Thursday, I took Sapphi out to a mechanic. She needed her oil changed and the tires rotated. But I also noticed a weird chirping sound coming from the mechanic told me his guy comes in on Friday and will have a look

"No problem" I said, thinking I have time before my date-

Going to try and see if I can do a late night stream this week since it is the last week of feb. Playing rando switch games I have or until something interesting happens.

After 20 hours, stubbing my toe (do not ask how) and moving things around. My ask is done and assembled. I will add more things to it in time. But for now, I love how it looks.

So for streams, I will not be drawing anything until this is completed. I will play games to help me decompress. But I am not planning to do any art until than.

So, I have been working on my rigging for a looooooong while now. I have done stuff like this before with my current model, and as much as I am find with it. The urge to draw has became more potent than ever. So from this point, I have to restrain myself from doing any art until I am done.

It's 5 am and have yet to sleep. But I want to share some headshots of characters I have been working on for the past few days... this is also one of the reasons why I took a break from rigging for the moment. Enjoy my beans!!!

Tips for moving from Xitter to Bluesky Before you start following people, fill out your profile! Bio, PFP, banner, and post at least 5 to 10 things. Just reuse your top 10 banger tweets—recycling is encouraged! This way, when people see you followed them and they check your profile, they’ll know what you are about and might follow back. Turn off NSFW filters in Moderation > Content Filtering Find your friends using a tool like skeet.labnotes.org or Sky Follower Bridge. Not perfect, but they’ll find the majority of the people you were following. Turn on “show posts from my feeds” in Settings > Home Feed Preferences. This will add random posts from them to your main feed, but tweaked to your liking, no ads and BS. I recommend the Catch Up feed (kinda like a “best of”). Tweak Reply Filters to something that works for you, also at Settings > Home Feed Preferences. This shows replies from people you follow to anyone else on your main feed. (ran out of characters! OCR will work though)
