What’s everyone else reading? Need a new book now!
I don’t think I will ever get enough of Abby Jimenez’s books but this one was special. I think it going to be a long while before I stop thinking about this book. From their first meet I was obsessed with Samantha and Xavier and it just kept going from there. The way they were made for each other to the increasing devastation of each parting and every hurdle they jumped together. The way they saw each other in a way you dream about and rarely find in life. So many times I saw myself in each character and my own marriage reflected. I feel bad for every book I read after this because I don’t know if a book with ever touch me the way this one has.

I thought I did have you blocked on here.

If you claim to be pro Palestine then you need to block Aaron Parnas. He’s just a Zionist dude who reads headlines. He’s not a reporter, he’s not a journalist. There are countless other accounts you can get accurate news information that isn’t biased against Gaza

I swear poor white people slop to learning how to make actually good food and liking food you didn’t know could be good is the best kind of glow up. What do you mean that steak shouldn’t take 20 minutes to chew and Brussels sprouts can actually taste good and don’t have to be mush???

Here are the mods I have in my game! Some are just mods for other mods like the generic mod config menu. I love the bigger backpack and the health and stamina regen. The bees plus comes with a recipe to make syrup with flowers and sugar but it’s not compatible with automate so I might delete it.
Automate - absolutely looooove this one
I have a greenhouse one but haven’t gotten far enough to use it yet
One that adds flowers to grass
One that changes how leveling works. I can add a link but it gives you points so you can self assign to skills. I’ll get a screenshot before I go to bed
It’s literally my favorite game! I’m not a pro by any means but I’ve been playing it off and on since 2016 and have a collective ~1K hours across steam, ps, and switch. I even got my non cozy gamer husband to play co-op with me. It’s not for everyone but I highly recommend it!
I’ve been playing modded SDV on my steam deck and having a lot of fun with it? What are your favorite mods to use?

Season 6 promo of the character Janine with the text: Janine has had among the most tumultuous journeys on this show. There are so many episodes we can go back to and look to where she is now and wonder how she ever survived. I'm not surprised in the slightest that she chose to stay and fight for Charlotte. Part of me doesn't expect her to survive the finale but at this point ir would be cruel considering everything she's been thru.
Season 6 promo with the character Rita with the text: Rita!! She has surprised me! From the beginning she has mostly always been one to not stray from the others or her role. When she was able to reconnect with her sister it didn't surprise me that she went back to Gilead/New Bethlehem. But when she was in on the plan and baked the sedatives into the cake and then she was the one to take out the Guardian to get June down. Love seeing her take an active role in the rebellion and very anxious to see her in the finale. Will she make it out alive and reconnect with her sister, both of them free?
Season 6 promo with the character Moira with the text: Moira has been an active participant in the rebellion the whole series. From "before" to her escape from Gilead, to her work with refugees and protesting in Canada. Her involvement this episode was the least surprising. She's going to see this thru to the end, no matter her cost.
Season 6 promo with the character Commander Joseph Lawrence with the text: And finally, Commander Lawrence. He started out one of the most confusing characters for me but seeing his character development has been some of my favorite. Seeing how his role in developing the Colonies and how that effected him and those around him definitely inspired him to act but never directly. His act in rebellion started out by just letting his home be a part of getting people out or getting supplies to June or getting people in and out of Gilead. He's still maintained his image as a commander for the most part. Seeing everybody arrive early and how that effected the plan changed everything. He knew that the right choice was to get on that plane and follow thru. Sometimes the right choices are the hardest ones-I just hope June is still able to carry on with everything after.
Season 6 promo picture of Aunt Lydia with the text: The job they are doing setting up her character for The Testaments (which began shooting in April) Her character is a complex one. Believed she was acting according to her beliefs and for a good cause only to see it not end up how she envisioned and recognizing this a little late. She has a lot of work ahead of her, both with taking down Gilead and her own personal journey. Very curious to see where she ends up in the finale.
Season 6 promo picture of June Osborn with the text: Oh June. As I've been rewatching from the beginning in between episodes, it's been interesting seeing her character development from someone who was literally just living with her head down trying to survive to someone taking an active role in the rebellion. She's definitely made some dangerous and careless mistakes along the way but I'm glad they did not make her some infallible hero. She's been thru a lot of trauma and it's going to be impossible to mask that in some moments. I'm not sure if fate would have her alive at the end of the finale. I'm not thinking she will make it out alive but I hope I'm wrong.
Season 6 promo of the character Nick Blaine with the text: Another complicated character. Seeing his character progress has been interesting. You see him living the same as June, just trying to survive but differently. He stumbles upon an opportunity to improve his situation and it opens up ways for him to gain power. Something that proves to be very useful for survival in Gilead. As mentioned in this episode, June gave him many times to escape and the ability to live without relying on power. He chose not to. Every. Single. Time. He only wanted to on the end bc of his betrayal and the repercussions from that. His getting on the plane surprised me, his death did not. He reaped what he sowed.
Season 6 promo of the character Naomi Putnam/Lawrence with the text: She has turned out to be quite a surprise. She mostly has stayed true to the character as written from the beginning, especially her chat with Serena about being to liberal. But when Lawrence handed her the book for Angela/Charlotte, I think it-changed something in her. One episode ago, I think she would have denied it bc of what it meant for women to read. Now she's seeing things a bit differently. I don't think we'll see a change in her like we have Serena, but I don't think we're done with her. She'll be back in the finale.
Promo image of the Handmaid’s tale with text that says “season 6 episode 9 thoughts swipe to read ‼️ spoilers ahead ‼️
Season 6 promo picture of Serena Joy Waterford with the text: Her concern still seems disingenuous. She's read to leave HC Wharton but in the same breath, unwilling to help the resistance? She says she wants her child to know a better life but doesn't seem willing to do anything about it. She seems to be to be of type time and time again to "wait and let god". Time is running out Serena Not sure what the finale will have in store for her. Maybe she and Noah will get to escape in return for providing information on Gilead
Season 6 promo picture of Mark Tuello with the text: Seeing him walk in at Lawrence's house to see Serena. Mmm. Curious to see his role in the finale. He's been a crucial asset to June and will continue to based on events in this episode.
Season 6 promo picture of Luke Bankole with the text: Loving seeing him take an active role in the rebellion this season. He did what he could until it was time for action. Taking care of Nichole/Holly and healing was not sitting around and doing nothing.
‼️ Spoiler Warning ‼️
More thoughts of this weeks episode. A lot happened and it’s a lot to digest. I will probably watch it again before the series finale.
Nick too?? Tho that not a sacrifice for him like it is for Lawrence.
Is Lawrence going to sacrifice himself?!?!
Luke and Rita leading the rebellion into that was fantastic. I love seeing Aunt Lydia progress into her character that she becomes for The Testaments
“I thought we were friends” her delusion thinking June would ever be friends with her says so much about her.
Not sure how I feel about that interaction between June and HC Wharton
Serena’s “wake up” seems so disingenuous. She only cares bc now she’s back to competing with a handmaid again. Serena cares when it suits her. We’ve seen that repeatedly with her history.
Guardians posted at Lawrence’s home is going to be a problem I think.
Phoebe (Ava) wasn’t even a real Aunt!! Omg she was great!
Im not surprised that Janine wants to stay and fight for Charlotte. Part of me thinks that Lawrence has a plan based on how much of her we have been seeing with him.
Of course the Handmaid’s are captured. Rebellion is never easy.
