Wild and Mafuuba are both here to help Jiraiya, but disagree on whether that involves trusting Jeanne or not.
Paltis just wants to get hit by that laser sword again I guess.
And poor Silver Shark showed up because he wants a bite of the treasure (but got instantly bodied oops)

Dokusai, Benikiba, and Retsukiba are obviously our main villains, desperate to find Pako and kill Jiraiya if they have to. Demost wants to torture and kill Jiraiya and claim Pako for himself. Gamesh and Jeanne work for Demost because he promises them rewards.
It's especially fun because with a whopping ELEVEN Ninjas fighting throughout this episode, they still have each one with their own distinct motivations on different sides of the fight, instead of just "good guys" and "bad guys".
Except Paltis. He's still just here.
When I'm watching on my break I usually screenshot things during the episode to write posts later, and I was gonna say like "Who ISN'T a Ninja in this show they're all over the place" but I had to shut up and lock in when they brought back FIVE Ninjas from prior episodes in this one.
Y'know I had just kind of accepted that tengu were real in Jiraiya and Dokusai had a bunch working for him. I had never considered they might just be hired hands in suits.
But then these kids put on the little suits and started flying and making crow puns.
OK so first off Jiraishin is notably taller than that statue (20m vs 15m) and second off it is a FIGHTING ROBOT AND NOT A STATUE and third off it's been here for 2300 years, not 1200 years.
You could've just said "aliens", man.
Bandora!
I love the way they've done this suit.
Baron Owl time!!! It's Baron Owl time!!!
They're ready to execute all the other World Ninjas on the spot but this guy's just a little silly thief so we're gonna arrest him.
Oh I have got to know what goes on at those.
That one person who said they keep adding new Riders to Geats and hoping we don't notice was right, who the fuck is Kamen Rider Dauphin
>Is named The World
>has Killer Queen's power
are they stupid???
It's really nice that (October 2021) they weren't encouraged to cheer with their voices like usual.
Love that Saber just stances the fuck up and then stands back up awkwardly when he realises it isn't time for a fight yet.
I think we should kill Saber's writers.
I'm not sure if they made his actor lose weight to look strained by what he went through as The World or if he's just really thin.
Why are they insisting Ryoga has a crush on Mei all of a sudden. I can't even name you a time they talked.
I wanna read the Ryuki novel because I know Miho's in it and when I watched the movie I was looking at her and going "oh she had a neglected childhood and struggles with self-worth and idolized her sister and now she has no idea what to do with her life" and I wanna see if Inoue knows any of that.
Apparently Eiyu Club made a bunch of short films about various robot girls? This is awesome.
OH MY GOD WHO ARE THEY???
Caught Virtual Insanity on the radio and was then subjected to the announcer saying "Stevie Wonder-sounding guy, Cat in the Hat. Jamiroquai."
I just realized that all of Tenzin's children are younger than Korra. None of them were born until after Aang died. For a few years there, Tenzin was stuck with the weight of being the only Airbender in the world.

I love that Jiraiya gets to possess his robot but Dokusai is just glued to his monster's head.
"my dad can beat up your dad"
Dying at the way the translation phrased the narration and made it sound like we've all been waiting for this.
I know they're probably just both based on shuriken but I keep looking at Dokusai's forehead and thinking of the Hurricaneger logo.
