Yeah that is amazing casting.

Adam Baldwin was literally *the* guy who named GamerGate and made it go viral. It was just some loser 4chan/incel YouTuber shit before then. They spammed him to get his attention because they knew he’s also a psycho loser and they wanted to make it go viral, and he did it. And it worked.
(The LABO VR headset is confirmed to work with the Virtual Boy games.)
For us, LABO will be remembered for time spent together during the pandemic, when it was both super cheap to purchase and was exactly the kind of indoor activity we needed at the time.
Hoping the LABO VR headset will be compatible with the Virtual Boy titles. (2/2)
Seeing Nintendo's LABO mentioned today in relation to the Virtual Boy's cardboard headset for the NSO releases. LABO was a weird experiment that had mixed reactions for sure, but for my family it was a cool game/craft with all of Nintendo's charm. (1/2)
Don't look away.
This one should come with a warning. It's pure, uncut Christmas, and the combination of these muppets and their quiet dignity is deadly
Four old style televisions with a wavy line on them, like an audio waveform, attached with many wires to some small electronic devices.
Working on a music visualizer setup. Going to have to remove the cases to fit the CRTs where I want (Ikea Kallax-style cube shelves), but happy with how it looks so far. B&W Videoscope -> composite distribution amp/splitter -> four 13" TVs.
1980-2020:
We will hide the microphone. It will be held just offscreen. Or it will be hidden in hair or a shirt collar. Or headworn and custom-colored to the presenter's skin tone. There is no mic. You see nothing.
2020-Present:
Look at my microphone. It is comically huge or comically tiny.
It is true. The most agitated, paranoid right winger you know absolutely has "Take it Easy" for a ringtone.
Finally a way to play the 5200 version of Pac-Man after I ate my copy.
A man and daughter (her face is obscured by a digital sticker of a ghost) standing outside the Galloping Ghost Arcade in Boilingbrook, IL.
Galloping Ghost today with the progeny to celebrate the end of the school year. She learned Ryu's special moves, heard Magneto say "Welcome to Die!," got dragged into the lava in Joust. All the important arcade stuff.
This is so incredibly true. Spring Break when I was a student? Felt like forever. My daughter's Spring Break? I blink and it is over.
I've long dreamed of building/converting an old electromechanical pinball with ROTG's art style and calling it "The 'Gator" as if this was a sequel to a lost physical machine. Love this game. HAL were the masters of early video pinball.
An Amazon order page from 2004 showing the purchase of a book called Midi for Musicians and one called Ableton Live 4 Power!
When I made my first Amazon order in 2004 I was thankful for the opportunity to access niche books. In 2025 I'm thankful my family is cutting Amazon completely out of our lives- no shopping, no streaming, no devices. In 2004 I didn't know the word "technofascist"... in 2025 I do.
Eliminating Head Start would be devastating for 800,000 kids and their families who rely on it for early education, health services, and family support. We can't sacrifice their future to fund tax breaks for the rich.
Over the course of my life I've been willing to die on the hills of so many unimportant opinions. Kind of proud that "empathy is good" is the take that will probably do me in.
Dialogue from Castlevania: Nocturne Why do you sing? Because then I am free. And so is everyone who wishes to listen. But we're not free. And if you keep singing, they will cut out your tongue. Then we should all sing together and cut off their heads.
I mean (spoilers, marked as NSFW but not)
The dialogue in Castlevania: Nocturne is so exceptional. And talk about good timing. Who knew a series about well-intentioned people fighting overwhelming corruption would be so cathartic in 2025?
Most recent project: a pair of Xbox 360 Hori EX2s modded with new sticks (Seimitsu LS-56 with octo gates) and buttons (Sanwa OSBC). Art is taken from an old half moon table they eventually will sit on, currently being restored.
Only bought four albums on this, the Bandcampest of Fridays. I am a paragon of restraint.
It may feel hopeless right now, but there are actual, concrete ways you can fight back against what's happening in our government.

I do have a video that gives a better look at it here: youtu.be/rqjvslTWmmY?...
A kiosk with a TV inside that plays the game Pac Man Vs. for the Nintendo Gamecube, and a Williams Flash pinball machine that has been re-themed with art and music from the video game Mega Man.
Hey Bluesky, I'm Kevin Richardson, a hobbyist game dev. After working with arcade games (a Pac-Man Vs. cabinet, Mega Man pinball retheme, and other projects) I'm creating my own, called "Giant Bug Attack."
I'll probably talk about game design, pixel art, media, and being a dad. Also, dad jokes.
My recommendation on this Bandcamp Friday: The recently released Midwinter Swimmers by The Innocence Mission. Their relentlessly gentle music is often a comfort to me, and this album, in these times, is no exception.

Ah. So she IS a hallow backed girl.

Happy 20th to the GOAT FPS
As I mourn today what could have been for America, may I say how much I anticipate the unrelenting firehose of comedy, goodwill, and generosity that is @desertbus.org? I just want to spend some time cruising between Tuscon and Vegas with some cool folks. Starts Friday! www.twitch.tv/desertbus
