I love that's not even a super loud noise that stuns the enemy. Just "quack"
Speaking of this one of my favorite phony MK characters is the weird duck ninja known as Aquilluxborg Hydroxybot, or Aqua for short.
(He has been made in a few MUGEN fan games though)

For sure. Just want to build janky vehicles in TotK and not get swept up in dying orange man's dementia
Just like in Dragon Quest!
Yeah I mostly post about silly old games. And Dragon Quest
Being a Chronically Online Culture Crusader doesn't help a damn thing in the real world anyway
I haven't really kept up but apparently they're doing a redemption arc for him?
They pretend to be superheroes when the only one they actually resemble is basement chud Superboy Prime
It's cute when people have debates with themselves in their own head and then try to shift all their stupid straw man arguments onto random strangers
No wait. The opposite
A fine addition to the block list
Scrolling past the dozens of links for people who can't afford rent and medical bills to scold a random person for posting about viddy is the noblest endeavor of all doncha know

I ended up ruining his PS2 guncon later so I guess we broke even
(Seriously though the triggers on those are flimsy as hell)
To be fair it was a cheaply made third party piece of crap but still. I was angry
Definitely not ideal.
Glad I had a 6 button controller. Though I lent it to a friend and he broke it
You could play as the bosses in the Genesis version at least, albeit only in 2 player mode.
I mostly played the Genesis version back in they day
Since they added the Run button they added a super awkward scheme where you'd have to press A+B to do a high punch or B+C to do a high kick and it was incredibly awkward.
Def. Don't recommend unless you have a 6 button controller.
Yep. Looking forward to talking about that hilarity later this week

Ice clones, bomb traps, homing missiles, teleports, string combos, et al are all very unique additions. It's very chaotic and requires clever tactics unlike any other fighter out there. Still one of my favorite fighters today, and high level play is extremely fun to watch.
I gotta be honest though: Mortal Kombat III (and its followup versions) are my favorites in the entire series. It's just pure fun to experience, and having so many unique mechanics and special moves give it a very unique feel compared to other fighters.
I'll go into more detail tomorrow but suffice to say UMK3 remains a major cult classic to this day and still sees competitive play.
It also had some interesting followups of its own that we'll look at in more detail.
Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 poster
So only a few months after 3 launched Midway released an updated version titled Ultimate Mortal Kombat III, which restored all the ninja characters and even added a couple more. They also tweaked some of the more busted gameplay elements of the base game.
Mortal Kombat III definitely had a more mixed reception compared to its predecessor. While the added features were fun and even the new characters were interesting (mostly), tossing out several fan favorites to make room for them definitely felt like a betrayal to many fans.
Even the devs seemed to think they overdid it a little since he seems less inclined to projectile spam in UMK3. Trilogy also nerfed his projectile reflection ability; they do work on him now, but only at close range.
He's another infamously difficult MK boss, hitting ridiculously hard, punishing whiffed attacks with a brutal grab-and-pound, and spamming fireballs that explode and do huge damage.
He also has the unique trait of REFLECTING any projectiles that hit him, so don't even try.
