So turns out restarting your computer every so often is a good idea. It now runs at 60 fps (except in hubs with lots of people or specific fights) at medium.

I'm so sad right now. I haven't updated my computer's hardware in like 6 years so I had to close literally every single other program to get Dragon Age to run at 30 fps on low settings. Pray that I get the raise I deserve after this year so I can afford a decent fucking gaming rig.

I like this argument, and it's started to convince me away from "AI art is not art". You could argue either or both are bad art, but they are both still art.

Yey, it's good to be back

Sometimes I feel like shit over the natural pitch of my voice and curse my puberty for doing that to me. But other times I remember that I can hit all but the lowest notes in "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch" and that legitimately makes me feel better. Hope I get to keep that after voice training.

I'm not much of a party person, but there's a pretty awesome meadery in Key Largo that's partnered with a local apiary, so that was worth the trip for me.

Can definitely agree that there's not much at all through most of the Keys, though, and US-1 is the ONLY road until then.

Google Maps Street View of one of the two roads between mainland Florida and the Florida Keys. The road has only one lane each way and the ocean is visible just on the other side of each railing on the bridge ahead. Just before the bridge, on the left side, is a small beach with no railing between the road and the shore.

I've done the drive down to Key Largo, which is far enough for me. One of the two roads feels like there's less than 5 feet between you and ocean and it's incredibly unnerving, while the other is usually loaded to hell and back with traffic.

Took my first foray into the gig economy. Lucked out and got back-to-back-to-back deliveries that took 20 minutes each and placed me right back at home. Not bad for a first hour to make a few extra bucks in the evening, but I fear that it's gonna be downhill from here on out.

Also, previously the final beam (not including the finger zaps) was just full power from Necro right away. But in the newest version, he starts by adding only a finger's worth of power until Dizzy lets him know she's ready with a nod.
