So my divorce was finalized on January 6th so at least now I have a new thing to associate with that date 😆

Today marks 4 months since I filed for divorce. And 5 months since I moved across the country alone with my kids. In 2 weeks my divorce should be finalized and I’ll be starting a new year, with my entirely new life in my new home state :) I am so excited and I’m going to make this the best year yet!

Let’s see. Since I was on here last, I separated from my husband, my kids and I moved from WI to WA, I moved my eldest into her college dorm, my son turned 3, and I filed for divorce.

And all of that has only been since March lol

Oh man that sounds terrible too! For me I have pain constantly in my neck and then also my shoulders cause of my breasts. Fun stuff. And yes spines are absolute trash.

I have cervical kyphosis of the spine (aka military neck where it has lost all curvature). The chiro was working on that and I gained like 2% of my curve back and it took forever. But I was seeing a specialist who actually does routine xrays in office - not a joe blow chiro (which are total bs)

I just recently got approved for surgery but am waiting for my son to be a little older / able to understand why mama can’t pick him up post op.

I feel your pain. I had to do chiropractics, doctor visits to get a paper trail, and 16 weeks of physical therapy just for them to confirm that my breasts are the cause of my pain and it can only be corrected thru surgery. (36H US)

Remind me to never again do a 5 hour road trip with a 2 year old, 17 year old and a 80lb dog. 🙃

Update: living room is once again full of his shit.

For disability pride month, I want to reiterate that OCD qualifies as a disability in many countries and that it’s widely considered to be among some of the most disabling conditions people can have, especially if untreated. It is NOT a quirk. Our brain works differently, we aren’t “quirky”.

Whenever my toddler gets angry he throws himself on the floor and rips his socks off and throws them.

It’s one of the few things he does that I totally get 🤣
