A lot of COVID Discourse on here lately. Here's Butterbean in April 2020 keeping me company during lockdown.
Too cute! Happy Tuesday, frens! 💞

Good riddance to another one of Trump’s cruel, corrupt cabinet members.
Once again, another woman has been ousted by Trump. It’s about time to clean house of the incompetent men too — I’m looking at Kash Patel and Pete Hegseth.
Thanks! 🫡
Hope you had a nice morning, friends! Happy Monday! ❤️
There’s a lot to fix at the CDC: “You’re putting a director in place into an organization that is so deeply dismantled that it’s going to take much longer than a year or six months to get it up and functioning the way that it was just a year and a half ago,” said Abby Tighe, who was fired from the CDC last year and is now the executive director of the National Public Health Coalition.
From this morning's @ajc.com newsletter on Trump’s nomination of Dr. Erica Schwartz as the next head of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention:
Happy Monday, Gio! Enjoy the adventures!
😍🥰
Sounds like you're having a really tough time on multiple fronts. I hope you catch a break and things start looking up for you soon! In the meantime, please be gentle with yourself and know that you're doing your best in difficult circumstances. 🤗
Thanks for posting this—I'm listening to it now
In both seasons it really did that for a whole range of issues, sometimes in less direct ways than might usually get consideration—such as what it looks like for children whose parents have been deported when a health event sends one of them to the emergency room.
Getting razzed about rizz—how cheugy!
Like ANDOR, but on earth.

A bright red cardinal stands on the tray of a window bird feeder very close to the camera, facing slightly right with its head tilted down. Across the street are three houses, a parked blue SUV, a sidewalk, and leafy trees on an overcast morning. The feeder frame curves around the edges of the view. Timestamp: 2026-04-19 06:58:33 AM
A bright red cardinal fills most of the foreground, perched sideways on the tray of a window bird feeder and facing left. Its body is so close to the camera that the head and back appear slightly dark and soft in detail. In the background across the street are three houses, a blue SUV parked at the curb, a sidewalk, grass, and leafy trees on a gray morning. The curved edges of the feeder frame the scene. Set up feeder camera, and got birb alert.
Thank you! I smile every time I see it!
Such a sweet picture! 🥰
So much of my daily routine centered around Butterbean. I'm not ready to give it all up yet. I'll still bike home on my lunch break even though she's not here to feed & walk. This morning I strapped her harness on that stuffed animal, clipped it into her backpack, and took it on her usual bike ride. I know that sounds silly but I just really needed to go through those motions. I've gone through them with Butterbean every day for twelve years, give or take! It's like a muscle-memory habit and I'm not ready to fight that.
As someone who lost my heart dog just last year, it's a process with a lot of pain and sadness. I hope you can be gentle with yourself and grieve however you need to, whether it "makes sense" or not.
damn
I wubs him! 🥰
Happy Sunday, Cooper! I'm glad you had fun!
He sure is! 🤣
I'm pleased I caught him like this!
