Life is weird. I get a great new job which I love and move to a super cool new city but also develop a health issue that sometimes causes so
much pain that I can't fall asleep. The universe was like "let's even some of this shit out."

Don't tell anyone at my old job, but I have felt more optimistic about my future in the last 3 weeks at my new job than I did in the last 2 years at the old place.

"not smelling funny" is apparently an uncommon criteria for selecting an apartment. Either that or my leasing agents aren't used to such refreshing honesty.

Trying to tie up loose ends after being at a job for 8+ is.....a lot.

Sometimes it is VERY hard to tell coworkers that you're leaving even if they understand and it's to move on to bigger and better things.

Nothing says "totally ready to move across the country" like getting into a car accident. I'm fine but my baby (car) is not.

So, if I take this job offer (which I will unless my fierce negotiating tactics backfire and they rescind), I have to move ever so far away. Which I've done before but never with actual furniture. I have no idea how to do this.

The people at Amazon responsible for the timing of their "Book Sale" should be ashamed, but they are shameless.
