Silver lining is also that its flexibility allows for more experimenting with the sound. But every time we have a line up of all the “pop” girls, who’s on that list is interesting. How each of them sound is interesting. And how it’s so different from the “pop” grew up assuming was the standard.

Like, how does “pop” genre, go from Micheal, to Britney, to taylor swift. Who all make completely different music. But Beyoncé be placed in rnb. Genres really are a funny thing lol. But pop, as a genre, feels like the remaining space for the racial lines that existed in radio and tv.
