@markfrost.bsky.social is it crazy to suggest that there’s a physical connection between The Woodsmen and the Pale Horse? By “physical connection”, I mean a symbiosis where the horse has parts of the woodsmen’s consciousness within it?

@markfrost.bsky.social question: at what point did you get the idea to tie the Lewis and Clark expedition to Twin Peaks? Did this come to you long after season 2 ended, or was this something you already had in your head back in season 1?

This was tremendous — I also had no idea about Rowling’s relationship to Nabokov. I know Martin has referenced many writers of genre/speculative fiction as influences, but has he ever noted writers of literary fiction? If so, do you know who those might be? Thanks for the amazing read!
