Cheerfully reposting the most hated federal agency in the city is not going to win him Boston votes, just like responding to a Boston voter pointing out both this oandering and his deceptive personal business history with a comment like this is not going to win that transphobe my vote

My then 8-year-old nephew told me I was the only person who understood them
Any leader looking for a way to do something that makes them look bad will find the closest possible thing that looks like a reasonable excuse.
“We laid off half our staff because AI.” No, you did that. Stop pretending otherwise. Take ownership of your leadership decisions.
Meta: We're tracking your keystrokes because AI
McClatchy: We're misrepresenting your professional identity because AI
Hear me out: The AI didn't make these people do shit. It was just horrible leaders looking for a scapegoat.
The Facebook discussion about this is how I learned 99 wasn't named for this location on Rt 99, but an even older location at 99 State St downtown (which is also how I learned 99 ever had a Boston presence)
His full name is David Lubega Balemezi. "Lou Bega" is just his little bit of moniker.
I don't mind terrible years at Fenway nearly as much as the next fan only because I love the park more than I love the team, and low attendance means ticket deals, a crash in the resale market, and the ability to self-upgrade. I was on TV during Pedroia's first plate appearance at Fenway that way
I'm in for as long as that 6 mos of Hulu I "won" lasts. I'm too young to have ever needed to "forgive" Buckner but am precisely the right age to "forgive" Buck. His calls (and good sense of when to shut up in the '04 playoffs were perfect and the degree of my dislike of him was petty.
Moulton doesn't even represent Boston.
"You're from Boston? Where?"
"Marblehead."
Maybe he briefly lived in Allston during grad school? I dunno, but he was trying to start a failed bariatric surgery start-up in the Middle East when those bombs went off on Boylston
My folks didn't care about sports but one of my uncles got me "into" the Mets as a kid (I watched maybe 5 games on TV but wore a Mets cap to camp). But I moved to Kenmore Square for college during Pedro's first season and that was that.
Where in Newsweek's post could the headline be read?
That clip was probably the source of this rumor. The source is a known idiot and liar, and Newsweek hasn't been a credible news publication since it was last sold in 2018. This didn't happen, or other outlets and well-sourced reporters would have it, too

Dual ADHD household here (possible one or both AuDHD). Putting a dry erase board with a list of what's currently in the fridge that needs to be consumed has been more valuable than a shopping list for what we're out of
That version was on my dad's "we do not get out of the car until it's over if this song is still playing when we get back home" list
They've done it or a version of it a few times in recent years. Have to win the lottery, and then fast on the draw once you win the lottery to actually buy the tix. It's not for the full season (this one is April and May). First time they did it was for September '23.
How did I forget about sea pandas?

Last night was the first game of my Fenway Pass I skipped. I wanted a day to thaw out. No regrets (other than maybe purchasing the Fenway Pass, though it's been fun sitting in empty seats behind home plate instead of standing in SROs for pennies on the dollar}.
Is there any other category of birds other than owls that look so different from all other birds? If you told me as a kid that owls were not technically birds, I would have completely accepted that.
This is so much cooler than Mike Tyson's pigeons, anyway
Will it be an embolism? A staff sergeant?
You're not the first to tell me you have no idea how beer is regulated in MA. Sadly your predecessors here are mostly producers with a few regulators mixed in
"the party in power" is such nonsense framing. This was a public referendum

A great thing about baseball is—even with in-season interleague play—it's not unusual to have a primary team in one league and a secondary team you root for in the other. This is especially helpful when your primary team is shitting the bed.
My problem is I'm a Red Sox fan first, Mets fan second.
People are insane.
I'm sad I don't live close enough to see my first hometown's (I lived in Hartford hospital NICU for ~2 months before they let me go home) MiLB team on a weeknight because how amazing would it be to see a bunch of 4 year olds parade for the jumbotron? I love that they had to open a second night.
Not a suggestion because this is not wise, but in the moment I definitely would have tried to peel off the trim on his door and hand it to him.
Fuck it. Let's gerrymander Massachusetts but specifically so Auchincloss and Moulton have to find jobs
