One Piece is so incredible queer
And I mean not just the very obvious characters that at times are a persiflage of queer people but like as a whole
All those outsiders and misfits and found family

What ruined the one piece manga for me and why I kept rather watching the anime was a guy when I was 16. Who told me I’m dumb for watching the anime and should rather read the manga
Quickst way to not make me do something
As someone who has to go through all the ages with their characters I can tell you 1. This looks great
And 2. Ages are so tricky!!
And especially in those teen to early adult ages how someone looks varies so much individually

Yeah the character especially in the anime gets worse for everyone I feel but def the worst for the women

One Piece truly has a lot of annoying characters

One of the hardest thing about this injury based forced break is getting back into it
It’s been just a bit over two weeks but I had a really good flow before and it broke now
In the beginning I had struggles to get into my pages. My lineart looked stiff. And I feel now it does again

Lineart only of an autumn Halloween scene with no original characters Aran and Tao as kids, dressed up in costumes and going trick or treating in their neighborhood on an early Halloween evening. While Aran lets the neighbors pet on the sidewalk, Tao is walking up to the door ringing the bell.
Lineart only of a summer scene of my ocs Aran and Tao as kids/young teens in a neighbor’s backyard looking at an old car he’s working on. Aran is all interested in the mechanics and asks questions the neighbor, and older man, is answering. Tao sits on top of the car throwing a basketball in the air, and is not interested in the talk.
Lineart only if a scene with my original characters Aran and Tao as young adults outside at a food truck. Aran sits at one of the small Picknick table while Tao stands between his legs and offers him something from his drink
I love colors and that my art is colorful.
But also really love lineart. Bold lineart with a mono liner.

But maybe this kind of character arc was needed for Luffy

Like you have those enemies which get stronger and stronger and the strawhats still win the battles even if it’s rough and close l
But then you also got the government and this overall huge powers where there is no winning

Ah fuck I now made it to the part where the German voice actor for Zoro changes
I miss his old voice so much
The new one isn’t working (nothing against the voice actor and his work. He just has a different voice I don’t like it for Zoro)
