I came off to head for Dronfield before Staveley. Definitely going back though now I know how nice it is

It is! Never seen it before. Seems to be in much better condition than the Tinsley canal and much quieter too

My only niggle was a 3 metre steep and very rough path between off-road routes where a slip left me pinned helplessly under a heavy e-bike for a minute or two before I could move it enough to escape. Possibly the most undignified I’ve been this year 🫢

Decent bike ride today, despite the wind making it harder work. First go at a @cycle.travel route and very impressed at how it did. NCN and quiet roads with a bit of canal towpath too. Found this lovely mural I hadn’t seen before too.
