and tuhDAY i made birria (this time just beef no stew ingredients). it's certainly labor intensive but soooo worth it. made quesadillas with cheese cooked onto the outside yes indeedy

today i reheated the chicken i was making when my dad died and it was phenomenal. i forgot the star anise bc i was real stressed out from the condition he was in but it still turned out so good. i made it with love, i wish he could've tasted this

today i had some grilled food brought by a dear friend (cue the funeral food video with beautiful by snoopnand pharrell) and i made this agua fresca out of the sliced watermelons we were given. lovely stuff

it's also excellent on chicken, it's my brother's favorite thing i make and was the last thing i cooked for my dad. he absolutely loved it. it's also what i was cooking for him on his last day with us. i froze it but the rest of us in the family plan to eat it tomorrow. it'll be beautiful

this was a real good one, shanghai style red cooked pork belly. i'll drop the recipe in the next post
brown the hearts with a bit of oil, remove from heat, add vegetables and cook until soft, add hearts back and simmer (iirc about 30 minutes to an hour)
it is!! here's what to use:
marinate the hearts and vegetables of choice with soy sauce to taste and 1/2 cup vinegar (i got the datu puti two pack just for this), 1 tbsp sugar, garlic to taste, four bay leaves, a lot of black peppercorns and 1/2 cup water

beef birria stew with monkfish, carrots and potatoes. sensational. i had a mishap where i knocked over my food processor and had to desperately regather the chiles and whatnot but it all worked out and turned out amazing

next up is some quick pho i made with a rotisserie chicken. this one actually got liked by a vietnamese spot in osaka! if i ever by some twist of fate end up in osaka i gotta hit that shop just as courtesy lol

seasonings on the shrimp: suya spice mix garlic powder smoked paprika black pepper sauce ingredients: three tbsp peanut butter, two creamy and one crunchy bc we're low on crunchy one tbsp tomato paste about 1 1/2 cups water two tbsp brown sugar one tbsp tamarind paste unmeasured "little bit" of shrimp paste 1 1/2 tsp of minced garlic rice was toasted in 1 tbsp butter prior to cooking

it is EXCELLENT on chicken thighs, it was a major hit with the whole family
my dad (noted sugar on meat hater) actually requested sugar in it for the chicken and he was right, it was great. you might wanna try it that way too! one or two tbsp depending on how sweet you desire
i adapt it from this recipe with minor changes, mostly measurement wise to match the difference in weight (i only do 1 lb of shrimp at a time so i use half the butter)

finally cooked today after a week of eating food we were given by kind, caring friends. made pasilla garlic shrimp. absolutely amazing and one of my favorite foods atm

it's basically a given that whiteness is tied to nazism. like that is the trivial example. investment in whiteness is investment in nazism. the consolidation of the global world system under the imperialist arrangement has created a whole host of new nazisms.
yeah white trans people and white cis people have a nazi problem but the big shift of the 21st century is that every demographic has been developing a nazi problem in different and similar ways at this point and once again people are not really able to figure out how to deal with this
but yeah i love designing characters and making them look Perfect and similar across multiple games, can't wait to have the excitement in my body to show everyone
